Can I ask you? What do you use to clean the fuel pump because I just got Ducati 620 monster and I have the same problem and I would like to just clean the filter and the fuel pump so I would like to know what liquids cleaners do you use?
So I bought a Joe rocket ballistic textile jacket second hand and I noticed every time I take it off I have this white stuff all over my arms and on my shirt that I’m wearing
Good diagnosis and repair. Cheers! If the same thing happens again, you could upgrade the relay to a contactor which can handle higher current. The only caveat is the contactor would be remote mounted with wires soldered to the board to run to the contactor.
@redneckoriental On the box,Terro provides the numbers 5.4% borax, and 94.6% other. If we assume that "other" is water + sugar and that the amount of water is equal to half of the other ingredients, then we have enough information to solve for the percentage of sugar which we can use to compute the Terro ratio of borax to sugar. I have done the calculations and here are the results: 61.3% sugar, 33.3% water, 5.4% borax This turns out to be a ratio of 11.4 sugar to 1 borax. This is very close to the 10 to 1 borax you tested. This estimation is corroborated by your remark that your 5 to 1 mix takes about a day to work, where you find Terro takes 2 to 3 days to work. It would seem that twice as much borax (5:1 vs 11:1) results in poisoning the ants twice as fast. Personally I would go with 10:1 rather than 5:1, the reason being that you want to give the ants more time to poison the entire colony including the queen and new larva. More borax will work faster, but if it works too fast it wont reach everyone. One slight addition I would make to the recipe is to replace some of the sugar with honey. (idk, maybe 1/4 or so) The reason for the honey is that honey contains natural antibiotics that will preserve the bait. Just like bees, ants hate bacteria and are less likely to go for something that has spoiled. Another thing that many people overlook is Terro's bait containers, not only do they make it easy to move the bait around, but the top of the container helps reduce evaporation and keep the water in. If Terro gets to dry the ants have trouble drinking it. Thank you for your experimentation.
I don't believe it's a one hour fix. Dismantling, getting tools ready, looking up the part and ordering, putting the thing back together, cleaning the work space and getting the tools out of the way, all this takes more than an hour.
This is a great tutorial! I looked into mine and it doesn’t not have a burnt relay and the compressor seems to kick in but the air isn’t getting colder. I’m thinking the next thing to check is recharging the refrigerant.
Thanks you so much for your formulation ! BTW, how to make a protein based bait ( with formulation ). The reason I asked because some ants like protein more than sugar .
Can you use boric acid? I have those argintine ants and it looks like you do too. I tried using powered suger and boric acid mix at different ratios but have poor results. Maybe I didn't mix it correctly. Anyhow those Terro bait stations work but are quite expensive. Thanks great vid!
Lets watch it back real quick, when "the water comes clean through the DPF" it only ever flows through one slice of it no matter where he moves the wand... a DPF has no straight through ports, homie just cracked the dpf and claims its now "clean". If you cant afford to own a diesel, you can't afford it. They are not cheap, and they are workhorses, not daily drivers. For fs sakes, you cannot clean a dpf! They are limited lifetime components! They need regular replacement... smh -a heavy haul diesel tech
That's the same exact part that burned up on my Rollibot Cool310 AC. Two days ago my AC stopped blowing cold air so I took it part and found this same issue. Except I didn't find this video until just now after I already dropped $100 on a board replacement because I couldn't find parts.
I'm imagining the conference room meetings where it got decided that a person connecting an actual wire didn't indicate clear intention of preference and the poor sane engineers who rallied against that decision
Blame zee Germans. I recall my 1976 BMW had a giant Fasten Seat Belt sign...a dedicated lighting feature that had long been deprecated with the e30 replacement seats.. Never saw how it worked in an original 76... This car was stepped and and hotrodded by the race guys before me. 44 dcoe mikuni carbs, motor, header (fuel pump, crane cams msd and kind of hi 6 ignition coil made it run almost like fuel injection. Very simple. No working seat belt sign
