At first i wasnt a huge fan of this album compared to their other albums and EP but it has grown a lot after i have digested it fully now. I have noticed it is a lot more sexual not a critique just an observation and i think that ironically turned me off at first
This song is ridiculously catchy and hits the feels from the first listening. The chorus is so magical and it hits the right spot. When he says I won't let them hurt you I just fall into it, it just feels genuine and sang with his heart. Thx for the share! :)
i know belmont since 2022, when i first listened to Overstepping; later that year i decided to listen to the whole ep which this track came from (Between You and Me, from 2016) and i had a great time listening to it; the whole ep is top tier. This year, however, i felt into listening to them, but randomly on spotify and i ended up listening to their whole discography. Oh, boy, they don't have a single objectively bad song and Liminal was yet to be released, but they had already dropped 4 songs at that occasion; the album once again did not disapoint at all. Belmont is now one of my top 3 fav bands. PS: my fav track from Liminal is All Bite
@@Wilternativewhat really caught me in that song was the punch that came along with the first. I like the chorus too, but i agree they have catchier songs. The rap part too lives up to the main riff imo tho. In general, one of my fav songs by them
I’ve known about Glass Animals for years but had only heard Holiest and decided to listen to them on Spotify. I listened to Zaba which blew me away and since then they’ve been a favorite of mind and this new song is so damned good. The lyrics are so good and Dave’s voice is, as always, amazing.
I’m not sure if you’ve ever checked out the Kpop group BTS or their solo work. Some of their songs have Indie vibes. They all have incredible voices and are extremely talented. A handful of favs from them that you should check out are: Jimin Like Crazy MV Serendipity MV Jimin Heartbeat MV Lock/Unlock Dance Video JHope I Wonder Song JHope Daydream Jhope Crystal Snow Live Winter Bear-V Dream Glow Song Hectic-RM Wildflower-RM Letter Dear Army Live Jimin Coldplay fix you cover BTS Tiny Desk Concert BTS Friends MV-V Rainy Days-V Love Me Again-V All Day-RM Forgetful-RM Closer than this Jimin Abyss-Jin Tonight-Jin
I am not interested in Kpop sorry to say. The fandom is over the top as is shown here by your huge list of songs lol. I got comments like this from other Kpop fans in the past and I'm not going down that road again. Thanks anyways.
@@Wilternative I understand, I wasn’t initially interested either but after hearing a few of their songs that have retro vibes and indie vibes I started really liking their music both solo songs and band music. I really respect how they came about and the struggles they went through to get where they are today. Anyway, thank you for replying :)
To Her Door from Two Vines is my fav song from them. Hits deep. Sucj a perfect song. Love love love this new track. Had to grow on me, when it hit, it HIT
Giving To Her Door a listen now...been a long time since I've come back to this one. Definitely a beautiful showing of their softer side. Good album closer. Just doesn't supply the same upbeat hookiness of my favs from them...but I feel ya, it's a very sweet song made for a nice laid back listen.
@@Wilternative It's not the best record, could've been better lyrically, but those 3 songs do have a meaning you can toy with. Btw, maybe not a mainstream album, but you should listen to "As we were strangers - All good that we've done" it's 4 songs long
Personally, the song is a gem and I love it too much. There is another underrated song called Wandering Star. I wish you could listen to it. It's incredible. Good video.
lol part of the dumb and dumber to soundtrack I see. Definitely a hidden Empire gem. Listening now (no reaction sorry) and it sounds super sweet. Thanks for the recommendation!
I'll be honest, when you pumped them up so much and said they never let you down, I was kind of hoping that this track would sound terrible and really let you down, but unfortunately it sounded great. Consider me dazzled 🤩
Really great band, Black Mamboo used to play all the time on SMX Alt Nation about a decade ago. Sounds familiar, fells like home, comfort. It may not be a hit like heat waves, but this will play a lot this summer! Take care!
That's awesome, Alt Nation got me into so many new bands back in the day... Ya I'm interested to see how much of a splash they'll make with these new songs.
