Why didn’t Yamaha just make this changeable by touching and holding the wrong note on the score and making the change from there? This other thing is horrible for editing.
I have one. No voice sounds like an alto. App won't load. Still ok for practice but need lots of time on real sax which neighbor won't allow even 1 hour afternoons. How step by step did you change responsiveness and did you find a voice comparable to alto?
This is very true. Hearing my dad play piano when I was very young was got me interested in music. My parents never pressured me into lessons, and I ended up being much more interested in composing than performing. Even the elective music curriculum in high school was totally focussed on learning an instrument with the goal of performing, and if that hadn't been the case, I might have continued studying music through the end of high school and afterwards. But everything was "You _must_ learn an instrument and have professional lessons if you want to do music," and I just kind of drifted away from it. I recently started composing again, 20 years down the line, but things could have been very different if I'd had the support of people with Tim's mentality back then.

I;ve had mine over a year and it is a huge step backwards for Yamaha. Not including a reed sensor was down right stupid. I have had my WX5 for over 20 years and it is much more expressive. The YDS 150 is good for practicing , but not much else. Wish they could come up with a retrofit for a reed sensor. Also, is there a way to use it as a MIDI controller without going through a computer? I had planned on using it with my MFC10 running into my VL70M or one of my samplers. Impossible as far as I can tell. Almost bought the Roland. Wish I would have now.

I get to 3:20, loaded the file onto my USB, plugged it into my SX700, selected Ballroom, then Amapola.Tried to load it "File not found or not appropriate." They are all the same - wont load.
Killer bass. I have played a Fender precision and Jazz bass exclusively for many years now. I picked up this bass at a guitar shop and pretty much knew I wasn't leaving without it! This or the 304 if you want active, is a no Brainerd for the price
