Goodday All.Thanks for posting this video Ann.i'm looking to pickup a 2004 Vulcan 800.Are these bikes carb or efi?I havent seen the bike up close yet so that's my reason for asking.so far the reviews on this bike has been awesome.i as well have been riding for just over 10 yrs.
Great review, I just got my first bike and it was a 2001 Vulcan 800 classic. The decision was made with your review in mind along with a lot of other factors, don’t get me wrong. But I am very glad of the decision !!!
@@seayak I replaced it with a vstrom 650 which was a much better ride on tarmac but not so nimble off road. Got rid of the vstrom and am still hunting for the perfect bike. Take care and have fun with the GS!
Great video!!! It seems YT is full of people that just want to have people hear them talk, when what I want is for you to just get to the F-ing point!! That's is exactly what you did. Thanks!!!
Nice video Ann, the first one I was was your overview of the BMW650GS Twin which I just bought. I am guessing you do not have that bike anymore, but do you remember whose front crash bar you had on it? Nice video and keep well.
Good to show me the connections. However, removing that "floating" nut under each terminal post is NOT advisable. When I changed out the battery, those went missing and I'm very careful with my things. That was one of the worst weekends of my life - trying to find nuts small enough to fit in those tiny battery posts and then getting them to stay in place while fastening them. It would have been nice if you'd shown the "tricks" to keep these in place instead of editing the video to jump ahead to the placement of the battery tender terminals. And for those of us not willing to remove those nuts, you can very simply attach the terminals from the battery tender to the posts without all the extra work.
That looks nice. I was planning on putting one on a bobtail fender, for my Sportster. I'm also wondering if that would fit a Vulcan 900 Custom, because I have a buddy that just bought one, who might be getting a solo seat.
An old video but still relevant today. I got a 2015 300 a couple months ago that I'll have to store for the winter and read you could do the quick connect. Much preferable to taking out the battery. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing your motorcycling journey Mizzuz Moto. I am sure by now you have heard Jocelyn Snow who is a phenomenal petite rider. Because her and Itchy Boot, I will be taking home a 2013 BMW F650GS this weekend. This is my first real bike, I used to own a Suzuki Burgman and have never ridden a manual swifting bike. I love your videos and especially this one because it shows a trip may not alway turn out to be perfect. All the best. Just curious, are you not motorcycling anymore?
It makes me smile when someone stumbles across one of my videos. Thanks for watching and supporting women riders. Itchy Boots and Jocelyn are inspirational. And I'm not riding much these days - thank you for asking. Your GS is a great bike - hope you'll share your adventures.
Greetings from Greece. Great bike guys. I own the same model and it's outstanding bike. Can you inform about the solo seat. Is it a good option concerning the cost always?? Because I haven't ride something similar it's quite a risk to buy such product.. Thanks in advance...
The Mustang seat is really comfortable - a bit wider, a bit lower than the stock seat. And it looks better than the stock seat :-). It is expensive but worth it.
Thanks! I think we got the taillight from nicecycle. Just search for Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic 1996-2005 Integrated Tail Light Clear and you can find them.
If you're referring to the module located above the battery, with the 3 plug receptacles that removed for to access, it's that is correct, it’s part no: 27002-007 / RELAY-ASSY, BOX as shown in the parts diagram at Kawasaki Motorcycle 2013 OEM Parts Diagram for Chassis Electrical Equipment | Partzilla.com
@@MizzuzMoto thank you so much for the reply. Now I came to know that it was Relay box module. I thought that it was BCM. But actual it is relay box. Thank you so much once again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😇😇😇
I can't believe it's been over 3 years since I last posted a video. I sold my big bikes and have missed these adventures. I just have the Vulcan which is mainly used for day rides. I still have my gear just in case I find time to travel again though :-). Thank you for checking in - so sweet and made my day!
I recently saw a video about the Dirt Napper Bike Spill and Recovery Jack, and I couldn't help but remember your experience east of the Cascades. I've wondered now and then how you were doing? I hope you and your husband have survived COVID, and are doing well somewhere. I always enjoyed your videos. Best wishes, and keep safe!! :-)
You know I lost a bunch of subscribers since my last video. It's seeing comments like this that make me appreciate those that are still keeping in touch. Means a lot to me. All is good on our end. Thanks for checking in and hope you and yours are well :-)
@@MizzuzMoto It's GREAT to hear that you and your family are doing well!! Alls's fine here. Just avoiding COVID (got my shots!), and keeping my head down. Thanks for responding! I hope you're still riding your bike. Best wishes!
That’s a lot of damage for tipping over.. I crashed my harley sportster doing stunts at around 8 miles per hour. Both me and the bike went down hard, the ran ran perfectly afterward and had no damage to speak of other than scuffed up brake lever on the tip of it. Thanks for the Vid ,:) nice bike.
for one, no one cares because harleys are overpriced and only idiots buy them. this bike is carbureted which could possibly of flooded or a something inside stuck or moved, or fuel basically made it where it shouldn't of. itd of prob settled out if she kept driving it. also some bikes have switches and electronics that limit its power after a tip over and maybe there was an issue there. either way its a Kawasaki, It'll run again just fine. also if you were doing whatever with ur bike, it was prob set up with more to protect it. this didn't tip over on flat ground and the same thing would of happened to any bike that fell where this one did. so who cares.
@@redpilledpatriot8484 thats basically how u commented. Thats a lot of damage for a tip over (hinting because its not a Harley). Then goes onto say, my indestructible Harley slid off a cliff n only suffered a minor scratch that was actually only an eye lash stuck to the tank, because its a Harley. So in other words, i thought u were purposely making a "my bike didn't suffer any damage because its a Harley comment" whicj immediately get me ampd up, sp i was in my mind protecting the Japanese manufactured bike rider of which i am as well. So i was trigger buuuut. U claim thats not what u were doing but ur comment does seem that way. So read it with ur new enlightened perspective n tell me it cant seem that way....I will still apologize only because i thought u were being an ass. Instead i was a d for no reason.
I don't know if you still have her but the lowers will stop the buffeting with the windshield. I am 6 feet tall and I am fine on it. She is a good girl and has been a fine machine . Great review I know this is old but I felt like commenting because I am still riding mine.
Hi Jeff, I replaced her with a 2005 with lower miles and yes, I still have it. It's in mint condition and my Sunday ride :-). Glad to know you still have yours - these are getting harder to find in good condition. Happy Holidays@
