You just did something that all Cops did with this Sliding Switch Control, that is "Flip it from Off to Position 3" without stopping in between. The Switch was designed to go from One Position to the other with a Pause in between. Next the Siren "On/Off" Switch. Our guys refused to listen about WHEN to use this, Guy's would place the Siren in Wail or Yelp and toggle the siren On when going through Intersections and have the Siren off in between (Stupid). This caused high wear on the switches, requiring replacement every couple weeks. All I was doing was replacing this switch, until I got into the switch wiring and deleted the switch being able to shut off, wired the Siren to the Ignition for On while Engine was on. All they had to do to stop the siren was "Double Tap" the Manual Button and the Siren would shut down. This Siren - Switch Controller was Programmable by the Installer to change the Siren Tones. Very Nice.
I did something similar but got lucky that the broken leds that we’re on the machine had quick connects. Bought some cheap leds easy hook up. Nice and clean. I wouldn’t put light in the side. You must not be clearing much snow.
RU-vid es raro, lo que habla español salen comentarios en ingles, y lo que habla ingles salen comentarios en español, ojalá así me presentará una novia :3
Pretty cool when working at night time clearing driveways, Makes you more visible to street plows and the jeep / hummer driver that wants to show off in the snow.
Best is Wail. Yelp may panic some people. T2 is ridiculous. For best furthest reach and best penetration, T2 should dwell on the *LOW* part of the tone. Not the high part. The siren'square wave is loudest. The FAKE Q siren with more complex harmonics, is less loud. How does Whelen power one or two speakers from the *same two terminals* ?? No *[COM] [100] [200]* terminals.
Sirens are outdoor warning systems to alert you and others around where you live or currently at here's some air raid siren names STH-10 FEDERAL SIGNAL THUNDERBOLT 1003 WHELEN WPS SD-10 AMERICAN SIGNAL-T128 AMERICAN SIGNAL RM-130 WHELEN VORTEX 4004 GP3M8 HERES SOME FIRE ALARM NAMES 160 DUCK DETECTOR HERES A FIRE PANNEL NAME ADT UNIMODE 10 what us your favorite warning system from my list?
The custom Ecco rotator bar is what I’d use. Not quite sure of your application, but the physical movement of a true rotator is much better for distance warning. Not to mention, halogen rotators give a distinct “pop” that no LED light has yet to achieve. True, unmistakable warning.
@@alexandermakrianis I understand for a 2 lane road but i don't really see the reasoning. Now if near the intersection, that's a whole different story.
