Hey! I really struggle with making the waist belt fit right. It always streches a lot and loses shape. Any tips? (Btw i really love this pattern. It's so easy and quick)

How can i crochet it with a 2.5 yarn? I mean i figured out the star panel and waist belt in some way but the mesh part is too weird and tight

If I want to make it wider I obv need to do whole squares, but how many do chain in the first row to end up with an equal number of squares, like 19 or 21?

Tip: so bc I’m a bit of a mid-sized girlie (btw this goes for all body types ✨) I’d recommend for the star panel js chain however many fit and however many you think would be good for you then you won’t have to do extensions or anything and it’ll save SOOO MUCH time. I promise you lol 💋

Where do we insert our hook in the 5 chains or do we do it at the end of the last stitch? Sorry if this is worded weird! Also do we still do a turning chain or does the 5 chains count for that
