Have comfort in knowing that you don't have to be prepared for mountain lions or bears getting frisky by your movement thru their forest (no bells for me, look forward to seeing wildlife, Peace ✌️
I have a question I bought a Pro Max front and rear motor the fork piece that goes through the neck seems a little loose every time I hit the front brakes. Have you come across that on your bike? Thanks
I live Southern Colorado Rockies snow steep and of course rocky trails I'm glad I got the dual , how ever if I didn't live or ride where I do may not need 2 wheel drive, The pro has geared 1200watt motor. Dual has 1000watt non geared motors , like mine Peace@@greg1920061
We shouldn't have to check torque on bolts. Good of you to point that out. I've not had problems with my X3 in that aspect. These bikes go on a long journey to get to us, and they are put together by humans. Ebike owners need to turn wrenches! Cheers Mark!
I sent this to Dan Kelley on 2/10/ 24 "There is no connection between Penn Ave & Creekside trail on Google maps. But now there is, Metroparks site shows there is on detour map. They must have cut a new trail through trees. Go on detour & show us what there? And give us more info on how long it will take to finish US 35 bridge." Turn Left on Spinning Rd, & the new path through trees not far. Thanks Rick
@@TheMarklandian Thanks for the clarification! I have another question or two if you don't mind... Is the bike your riding the 2024 version of the bike? I'm really interested in purchasing this bike, but I would like a little bit more distance on it. Can you recommend a link to where I could do something similar to linking the batteries like you did?
@@franksmith5516 I have the 2023 version and stock it gets 30 miles with me on it (250lbs) in pas 3/4. Able to cruise around 20-25mph in those power levels no problem
I can hear you fine considering you are going pretty fast. The cool thing is your route only has a few high traffic areas and the Walkie X3 seems to handle rough terrain pretty good.
Been considering converting my hub wheels from 26” to 19” dirt bike tire. Was yours stock or did u modify the wheels yourself? If it was modded, how much faster does it accelerate?
I got the kit with a 16x3.5 inch rim already on it. Upgraded to a 16x4 inch rim on the rear. They fit 20x4 tires well. If you want more speed I’d recommend more volts. Went from max on a steep downhill 43mph to 52mph on flat ground
As long as there isn’t a full charge or a lot of load when you first start riding there won’t be any problems. Light throttle to warm up the battery. I’ve riden and left out my bike in single digit weather. Specifically my wallke which has a 48v battery with over 400 charges and working great still
I have a 1000 watt kit coming for the front. I’ll most likely modify it for more power. I did get a specific display controller and throttle so it’s gonna get here April 5th
@@TheMarklandian nice yea I will be doing 72v on my Meelod DK 300plus after I get it in February. I have to do a few videos to review it for Meelod then I will be upgrading it to 72v60ah 3k or 5k motor and a fardriver 72360 controller that will be pushing 190a to the motor. It should go about 70+mph. Probably sell my current bike to pay for new Batteries
@@TheMarklandian if I can ask how much you weigh and how many miles do you get out of your battery. Just wondering. I haven't finished my bike yet I'm waiting on second battery to have 45ah
The 1200watt geared motor must be fast spooling higher torque than the 1000watt non geared motor, can you tell the difference between them? with those tall tires it would be nice I would think.Peace
So thats 48v too in to one for the controller.? Any chance you have a link for the box. Or can I just get it on amazon. And great informative video thanks for sharing.
Similar yes but better. For 700 more you get better brakes, tires, more power to the motor and the battery has almost double the capacity. Imperial 13.6ah or wallke at a true 20. 750watts on the imperial or 1350 on the wallke. 2 piston brakes with 180mm rotors on the imperial or 4 piston with 203mm (thicker) disks on the wallke. Price wise the wallke is wayyyyyy better
@@TheMarklandian I looked it up on Wallke's website, and it states for the X3 Pro - Motor: 1200W (2000W+ peak) brushless geared rear hub so you are RIGHT 🙂👍
So far it works great in downpours Lol. Raining enough to where I could barely see 15 feet away while stopped. Works great on asphalt mud grass and even rocks. I need to make another video on it
