J'ai visité ce musé a ulverston il est vraiment incroyable avec des documents et des vêtements des bustes un musé somptueu avec des objets très rares. En faite il y a des documents et des poupées que je possède comme les affiches mais j aurai aimé acheté d autres objets mais rien n est à vendre.
I remember the pit village that surrounded the lighthouse before the pit was closed and the folk moved to better housing. Also passing the light on a dark night in a car dad had hired and seeing its beam flash out to sea. The lighthouse was painted black white those days glad to see its been red and white for some years now.
I wonder how many generations of "swan boats" there have been in South Shields boating lake? I am 70 and I can remember them as a kid - they can't be the same ones but just as loved I suspect.
