My list looks very different (well, the last two entries aren't), but then that's the beauty of Doctor Who isn't it. Stolen Earth/Journey's End is quite far down the list for me, which I know will be controversial, but I didn't like the cliff-hanger (I didn't believe for a second that they'd have the stones to actually have Tennant regenerate mid-finale), the whole 'doctor turns companions into soldiers' thing was a bit silly, as was the metacrisis/Doctor-Donna and I thought the way the Daleks were defeated was awful. It seemed odd that they got loads of the supporting characters like Martha, Jack, Rose, Sarah Jane, etc, back for it and then... Did nothing with any of them, too. Bit of a wasted opportunity.
I think we can agree to disagree on this with this one for me! I can also admit that there's a bit of nostalgia for me in there as well, but as sort of an avenger's level spectacle, always delivered for me!
In the bi-generation episode the TARDIS gets a copy made so that each Doctor can have a TARDIS. So does Roland Rat get copied as well? Also, in the episode with the Welsh PM where Ruby gets him to resign straight away how does he pass the DNA laws? This implies the time line we see never happens and he because PM. And since this DNA is (one of the) the Deus Ex tools of the episode it implies that if Ruby managed to make that episode's timeline of events canon she would have prevented the DNA data base from ever being formed. Or, to word it another way, Ruby is an accidental villain. This season has been an utter mess where Davies is not even cross checking story points against OTHER EPISODES HE WROTE.
You just hurt my head my friend! But...All valid plot holes! I'm hoping that there is some sort of explanation to these events in Ncuti's next season, but, not too sure!
i'm more into classic who these days and really haven't watched the series due to the Davros change really annoying me last november but I'm happy for good guys like you who are getting enjoyment out the current stuff, i grew up with 2005 who but classic who has my heart my favourite stories are genesis of the hand of fear earthshock, the five doctors revelation of the daleks remembrance of the daleks, and all of season 26.
To be honest, I struggled with the Davros change myself. Feel like it was super unnecessary and just a bit strange! And classic who will always be in my heart! Five Doctors and Earthshock are two of my favorites. But with iPlayer now having the classics, I'm finally able to dive into some 2nd Doctor stuff which I'm really enjoying!
@@EwanMcQuade I'm also a bit annoyed at how Christopher Eccleston was treated back in 2005 if you read his book it doesn't paint Russell in the best light behind the scenes even although I have mixed thoughts on Russell I thank him for the wonderful sarah jane adventures as adore sarah jane smith aka Lis Sladen.
Thank you for the kind words! Very much appreciated, I loved GITF too, low key my fav from series 2👀 There should be a spoiler alert around the 30 second mark my friend!
Good luck with your channel. I miss being able to sit down with my kids and watching new who. Now its nothing but a propaganda vehicle used to deliver their message to the masses. Sad
