This is a nice song 😊 ...sometime you should check out a beautiful little song called "The Sand " by the Lovemongers ... Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart ❤️
Bring back the Don't look back album sounds on a new one. I'm sure there are some songs y'all didnt record that were just as good. I would definitely buy it.
This is way better than the final version. Even if the vocal is temp (or perhaps because it is?) The guitar is faster and sharper. It’s has more of the light hearted yet sophisticated 80s flavor. Where can I get the whole thing, now that the original file has been taken down?
Brad had such a serene and gentle energy. He really seemed like a pleasant man who was happy with life. And I don't need to comment on her talent and beautiful voice.
This song was on the radio all the time in the mid 80s on the station I listened to. It was the number one requested song. Eventually the DJ announced that they weren't supposed to play it anymore.
Saw them at Chicago Stadium twice, 77 or 78 and 79 or 80. 1st time they blew the roof off. One of THEE best concerts I've ever seen from 18th row main floor. 2nd was great but further away. 1st time was played just like the album. Brad was fantastic. Everybody was fantastic. Boston blew the doors off. Wish Brad was still here.
Man, all Brad Delp's interviews, he has to be the most genuine person in rock and roll. Just a regular, respectful, polite, kind, gentle guy. He's more genuine than the radio hosts in this interview. Brad is not full of himself, just explaining how life is happening, like he's sharing it with a dear friend. It's too bad, all the drama, lawsuits, egos, greed that happened to Boston. Third Stage wasn't quite fully Boston without Barry's harmony vocals for me. Then it was a nosedive. I guess it's difficult to keep a great thing going. If only Boston could have had the longevity like the Rolling Stones. But I suppose, that just makes the Boston and Don't Look Back albums that much more grand. Thank you Brad for your amazing voice!
The only difference musically between this and the released version is that this one doesn't have the little bell between the first chorus and the second vs. It has a tom drum fill instead. Otherwise I think these are all the original tracks, just played from probably an old cassette tape.
Tom ruined the band when he fired all the guys. It's kind of amazing because they were really good live despite him making the albums in his basement. But I don't think that was Tom's intention to be a great band he wanted to have all the credit himself that was his whole goal.
Unfortunately never got the chance to see them, though they did went to PuertoRico at least once that I remember and Delp was already out, but still was an event worth watching and experience!
