hii! i applied to live at 922 through the asu housing portal! i first found my roommates to create a "group" and then everyone gets a random date to pick their housing. the roommate that had the earliest date chose the apartment/room size so i don't actually know too much about how that works! you'll get email with details when housing opens up later in the spring 2025 semester!
ooo it really depends on what's most important to you! i honestly really like it but i'll list out some pros and cons: pros: - close to campus (pretty much on campus) - spacious living area - nice kitchen - fully furnished - personal washer/dryer - very close street car station - pretty nice amenities - ton of natural lighting cons: - pretty pricey - soundproofing (haven't had issues but others have) - small rooms - noisy street - very slow maintenance - only have really hot water for some reason 😭 - minimal lighting (very ambient tho) keep in mind that your living experience can highly depend on your roommates😸let me know if you have any other questions!
i don't know too much about about the application process for international students but i'll try to answer any questions you have! feel free to email me at pumpernickel.official@gmail.com if you'd like
@@Oarabile__MHi! I’m also an international student applying to ASU. May I ask when you’re starting your freshmen year? I’m starting my application this week and decided to go for the next summer semester, but I wanted to know how others’ process would be like
hey! I may not be the best person to ask mainly because I chose ASU for financial reasons. I was looking at purdue and UT austin but I ended up choosing ASU because: 1. i'm an in-state student (cheaper tuition) 2. my scholarship covers said tuition So, ASU wasn't at the top of my list but it worked out the best for my situation. BUT after completing a year at ASU, I can say that I'm really glad that it worked out this way. The thing I really like about ASU is the diversity of people, classes, clubs, research opportunities, etc. ASU is HUGE and extremely well-funded, so there's always people to meet and things to do! However, keep in mind which campus you'll be on, your living situation (location/finances/etc.), ASU's ranking for your major (check USA Today), and what you will be doing after graduation (working/post-grad school). Hopefully this was helpful...let me know if you have any more questions!
@@pumpernickelppumpernickel Okay thank you so much for your reply! I will definitely consider those points. I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed your decision. 🫶
oo it definitely depends on who you're asking! also depends on which area/city in the west side! i think arizona isn't too bad - it's relatively cheaper (compared to california) - a lot of businesses are moving here - pretty safe (there's some sketchy areas but those are in every city) - many outdoor activities if thats what you like (hiking, swimming, skiing, etc.) - etc but there are some downside to be aware of - hot weather (it's only getting hotter every year) - very car dependent - housing prices are going up - etc this is a pretty short/general description so you should definitely do other research!
@@Isaac-vm7cg ooo i think it’s best not to bring a tv! it’s a little tight to fit a tv and you definitely can’t mount it (the walls damage really easily). but if you want a large screen, you could bring a projector! you would just need to figure out which wall would work best 😺
hello! i’ll be a freshman in the fall but there’s no in person tours for san pablo :( do you happen to know around where rooms W225-226 are located at? i only know they’re on the second floor, any info helps really thank you!😭
i only know that those rooms are on the west side on the second floor! BUT during move-in, there are a ton of volunteers that will move your stuff and take you to the room (they are very helpful and super efficient)!! so don't worry about not being able to figure out where it is 😸
I didn't show too much of the dining halls in the vlog unfortunately 😿 You can see some of the tooker dining hall at 1:42, 8:38, and 9:57! You can see a little of the manzanita dining hall in this vlog: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TJs6uyrCawE.html&ab_channel=pumpernickel This link will show all the dining halls + their menus for the day: sundevilhospitality.asu.edu/
Thanks for this! I see that some of the rooms in San Pablo have a third window between the bed headboard wall. Do you have any information on which rooms have those windows? Thank you!
The rooms that have the third windows are the corner rooms! I only know that room 116 (1st floor) on the West side is in a corner for sure...it's possible that 216 and 316 are also corner rooms but I'm not too sure!
