I live in the South (in the USA) and I hate it. From the outside, "southern hospitality" makes Southerners come off as charming and friendly. I thought that for the first year. Years later, after working here, I see that it's just formalities. There's a huge problem with covert racism. And, as a light skinned Black woman, I constantly get treated badly by other Black folks. Southerners love to chat with strangers but it's mainly from a narcissistic need to monologue rather than genuine interest in you or an act of friendliness. When it comes to making friendships race definitely plays a role. At work, I reported a coworker for discrimination based on race and the Black people in my office ostracized me for reporting him. The echoes of the past definitely still live in the South.
Most German men are cold and passionless in bed regardless of what they feel for you. That, I can confirm. I have more than 30 years experience with Germans.
Well, I think it's normal to adopt and to accept Austrian way of living. If I choose to move to another country I am very interesting in being able to live like people of that country live. It's a challange
I would like to see a video: what about living in Austria (with so many foreigners) as an Austrian. Pros and cons. My short answer: Some foreigners bother me a lot, some others don't bother me at all. I think that's the way it is in any other country. I am an Austrian living abroad for the most time of the year. For foreigners life is always more difficult anywhere which is quite normal. I don't know countries where foreigners are treated like locals, for many and different reasons. Maybe in a far future there will be one world where all people are just the same, but that's likely not going to happen tomorrow. Abroad (within EU having all rights of a European citizen) I am acting as a guest should act, respecting laws and rules, bothering nobody. Basically there is no difference between being abroad or in Austria.
I lived with a German and I don't think he was cheap. He was very practical and very responsible with his side of the bills. He was always calm in any situation. I on the other hand was more independent and didn't need anyone to tell me what needed to be done, I handled all the bills because we lived in Spain and he did not know Spanish. He was a great lad for sure. He was a bit more serious and I was wild at heart but still, we had a great friendship.
@@3x157 being responsible or any of the personality traits you mentioned has nothing to do with being cheap. Maybe he was out of the stereotype or … not. They are known to be bean counters to a fault and give themselves a bad image when it comes to generosity. I’m generalizing , and you had a traveler , those tend to be different and more open and behave with common sense although not all of them

When I grew up in Vienna I did not see a single black person NOT dealing with drugs for years (that was over 1 1/2 decades ago). The last day when I left Vienna one foreigner threw another foreigner on a (slowly) driving by car. The people in Austria are very diverse there are good people and bad people so even if you stay there for 10 years it depends which group you will meet. The good people are usually more silent than the bad ones. I now live in a country where foreigners have a good reputation -- in particular because a significant group does not live on social welfare, and helped to improve the country. And I am a native Austrian.
Honestly, I got approached all the time even on the street in Berlin , its super common not to mention in a bar and I have heard this from other women as well😅
I love the Muslims move to the catholic country like Austria or Spain and get freak about then being icked out. Move to other Muslims counties and see how everyone will like you.
I have lived in Germany 17 years and this guy is not at all like most German men I have met! I wish they were like him but sadly they are more like what she described. But the fact that he was willing to be videoes aaalready shows he is not the typical German
Yeah the Germans used to totally take advantage of me verbally until I learned German,...That seconds delay is real..But now! I let los on them like they never expect!
