I wonder if the idea of stone circles came from mushrooms, if left alone mushrooms will die and the next generation grown around them in a circle, which then gets bigger each generation. Just an idea.

I prefer Avebury to Stonehenge. Though I like that for its engineering and the 'carpentry' of its lintel joints plus the gentle curve of the lintels themselve. My favourite circle, though, remains Castlerigg in Cumbria.

Good video but perhaps explained the "wrong" way round. The earliest stones were quite possibly previously timber posts, as at Dorchester Henge, which nearly the same diameter as Avebury (under the modern town) and some posts being marked in the floor of the car park underneath the Waitrose supermarket, and at Stonehenge being three massive post holes a metre diameter in the car park. The few post holes discovered by Keiller at Avebury (north entrance and one at the southern which he marked with a circular concrete post, were separate features long before there were ever circles and were in straight lines as with Keiller's "Z" feature ("Z" as I understand it was the last feature to be discovered/described by Keiller). This was re-examined in 2017 by Gillings & Pollard and found to be a square surrounding the Obelisk (the line of stones still standing being the western side). Inside that square and hard by the position of the Obelisk stone are remains of a flagstone floor which Keiller thought to be a small medieval barn or shed but dates to the early Neolithic or late Mesolithic. It may have been a dwelling as that discovered on Portland and also underwater off Bouldnor Cliff, Isle of Wight. I believe the post holes and associated remains at Stonehenge carbon date to 6 thousand years BCE or thereabouts. Much has been discovered during the last decade; many thanks for your video Wiltsjack.

Well let's see . . .there has only been one religion since the beginning according to St. Augustine and that is for man to rebind his dislocated soul to Divinity within . . and that would be at X marks the spot within to the Godhead. Hmmm? Long bones and skulls--crossed with the skull in the middle . . . Masonic which is really an expression of the one religion to the Sun behind the sun . . . and the stones (St. Ones) , , , those who attained perfection in the spiral Image within and hold up the Kingdom--those from the beginning . . . the Circle . . . turned in on Itself . . .the figure eight=the Word the Nos . . . the Son or if you like math e to the i pi plus 1 equals zero

That was a great video of the area, best I've seen so far. What I want to know is, could one see a bon fire from the top of Silbury Hill directly South to Stonehenge? Now for what people think is mystic twaddle : Avebury with a serpent running through it is a so above as below symbol of the daylight comet of ~20,000ka across the Sun. The same iconography is found in Egypt and other places around the world as it was a spectacle for all. Strange to see you with a bovine scapula as that is the symbol of Isis and Nephthys at the Pleiades where said comet and its remnant, the Taurid Stream, visually seem to emanate from. Click on my orange avatar icon and go to About and then Comet-ose for more info. Oh, I've always wondered if one can smell the salty ocean in the middle of the islands?

Evidence leads one to suggest that the age of many of the stone circles, obelisks and pyramids around the world is far older than 4000 years or so. My feeling is that these sites were all selected for a good reason, and that many were re-built or re-erected over hundreds of thousands of years if not millions of years in exactly the same positions.

If anyone imagines our ancestors just resorted to rollers, levers, muscles antler shovel, antler picks and pure sweat and puff struggling to move stones of up to 50+ tons, perhaps they might consider this: There is a book by by an Airline Pilot named Bruce Cathie titled: The Bridge To Infinity. In it Bruce Cathie explains how he discovered the energy grid which covers the complete earth. He also discovered what he termed harmonic mathematics, which demonstrates that EVERYTHING is based on the harmonics of light. To which the response might be; rubbish, absolute poppycock; 'new age' drivel etc etc. Which is what many scientists said about his 'infantile' mathematics. Until he received death threats and warnings from an inner 'circle' of scientific knowledge and research which governments have undertaken for MANY decades and know a great deal about. Including such organisations as the CIA -- who; even though Cathie was a New Zealand citizen, attempted to recruit him to hide him away and shut him up. His books were also destroyed. He also got calls from scientists of this 'inner circle' telling him he was right. And others were absolutely enraged that he -- a 'non' scientist -- had discovered this by himself. He did this by plotting the courses taken by UFOs and discovering they ALWAYS used this earth grid to travel along. Cathie discovered innumerable points on the earth surface resonated to sub-harmonics of the speed of light (which is NOT a constant value), these points are invariably where things have happened but more tellingly are where monuments of every conceivable kind are to be found. You will be 'surprised' to know Avebury is one of them; Stonehenge another. What might be more obscure -- and directly relating to perspiring ancient ancestors -- is the fact 'harmonics' also applies to just about everything else. INCLUDING HOW POINTS ON THE EARTHS SURFACE NOW HAVE RADAR AND HAARP TRANSMITTERS ON THEM TO COMPLETELY ALTER AND CONTROL THE WEATHER ALL OVER THE EARTH. Its called 'weather modification' and CLIMATE CHANGE and its ALL man made. Wake up and do your own research on You Tube -- its all there -- enough to keep you busy for MONTHS. See videos by Harry Rhodes. You won't be laughing after. Just another small example in passing. Doctor Royal Rife (his real name -- an American) discovered viruses and bacteria resonated to certain frequencies unique to their 'species.' Having discovered this he designed electronic frequency generators and used them to destroy viruses and bacteria. In the process demonstrating he could cure ANY cancer. Which he did with 16 terminally ill people. I.e. 100% success rate. This was in the 1920s -- 30s. The reason you haven't heard anything about this is because the American health 'industry' realised its meal ticket was being taken away. So they destroyed Royel Rife, his machines and his laboratory and shoved him in gaol. See You Tube -- plenty on there about all this. To return to light -- and GRAVITY -- harmonics Cathie discovered; he also mentions on page 139 of The Bridge To Infinity about the experience of a Swedish Doctor (Dr. Jarl) who in 1939 witnessed Tibetan Monks, levitating large stones each weighing a number of tons 800 feet up the face of a cliff to a platform in front of a cave. Which were then used to build a new monastery. The means by which the monks levitated the stones (at the rate of 5 or 6 PER HOUR) in a parabolic arc up to the platform was -- shock horror and amazement (ho ho) -- was by DRUMS, TRUMPETS and CHANTING. Now where have I heard this before (rhetorical question!). Think it had something to do with a bloke called Joshua and making his followers dizzy, walking round in circles for a week. If the noise made by Joshua's mob was as deafening as the racket a few monks made, the people on the receiving end would not have suffered from constipation. Closer to home in time watch the video by John Hutchinson on You Tube who in 41 SECONDS reduces a bloody great solid billet of IRON to a good imitation of melted ice cream using, err, whats the word I'm looking for? Oh yes; I remember; HARMONICS. Now, whats the moral of this story? Anyone guess?? One that comes to mind is: stop wasting valuable video time talking absolute bloody drivel about 'crude' / simple-minded / unsophisticated / 'unscientific' ancient people who knew how to manipulate stone of any size from wherever it lay to wherever they wished to place them. You only have to look at the size of stones used in ancient monuments in South America; Egypt (of course!) Baalbeck (Lebanon) and a hundred other places around the world how massive pieces of rock weighing up to 1100 / 1200 TONS+ e.g. Baalbeck and the Aswan quarries, Macu Pichu etc etc ad nauseum and fitting them together so tight you can't get a cigarette paper between them to know the 'stupid' ancients knew how to turn 'solid' rock to 'jelly' and dig lumps out of them as if they WERE ice cream. And how they stuck them together so a human hair could not be put between them. (1 -- 3 thousandths of an inch) Perhaps we could see some educated realistic comments in future about what the ancients knew AND USED that we don't have the first inkling about -- except of course those of the inner circles of research that Bruce Cathie -- and many others have come up against. So PLEASE don't lets have any more utter drivel about how the ancients were just a bunch of sweaty, smelly, grunting, fumbling, simple- minded mental incompetents. Its what WE ARE and NOT THEM who are what we project on to our inexpressibly more 'scientific' forbears. If I can feel the energies around Avebury sufficient to nearly split your head open, dowse the energies that make a pendulum go berserk and nearly get dragged off the ground into the air on an energy / ley line, etc etc SO CAN ANYONE ELSE. A few more 'this is what I personally discovered' videos would be nice instead of: 'this is what I read / think / someone else said.' Would be a lot more interesting. Happy researching!

Wow that was alot to take in, 🙃 you remind me of me when I get overly passionate. Although I am slowly learning when I do this it only affects my nervous system 🤷‍♀️ right or wrong the guy who made the video, well, I'm guessing that this is his reality. That's all any of us have. Our own reality bubble, I'm in Tasmania Australia, I seen a photo of silbury Hill in a book and for some weird reason I just fell in love with it. I didn't think about the where how or why, when I looked at the picture I felt a tremendous peace, I think many people watch these things and do know that what you're saying is true, it's just hard to find documentaries on site that are talking about it, and it's the on site bit they really want, especially someone like me, who, even if they had the money just couldn't bring themselves to get on that aeroplane unless it was for family, or they were heavily drugged 🙇‍♀️😒. Angst aside, I love the info you gave and I will casually check it out, because I believe I will enjoy it 🙂 and I had no opinion in my head at all when I came here except to look at it, and find out if anyone over any time had found some sort of record of, people that live there over time. Now I'm looking forward to finding out more, so thank you 🕊✌🙋‍♀️.

I talk to these people , I walk the land. Even attended Merlin's wedding . I've felt energies and witnessed with 5 others an exploding orb at Stonehenge. An honest attempt to reconnect with the past , original healing practices and rites in a truly British way could be smirked only through inexperience. Learning from the land itself and not from history which is provably fake in parts. It is not true that nothing has been handed down about the druids anyway. I can understand the modern Briton turning back home away from manipulated dogmas from far off or the idea that spirit doesn't exist at all. The greenwood has been chopped down and we should never try to grow it again sort of attitude. Are the roots of the green wood fake or just forgotten ? I'm not disrespecting them . The stones are the crystals that can store information through time, my friend. Fact. Y Gwir yn erbyn y Byd.
@MikeGreenwood51
@MikeGreenwood51 7 лет назад
To Jason Cox For some reason I didn't receive a notification of you post. So just founed it per chance 4 minutes ago at 21.01PM today Monday. Roots of the Greenwood are not forgotten but are as old and fake as Merlin, Arthurian Legend and the Pendragon myth. The difference is the lie covered in the fraudian occult is cloaked to keep their lies a mystery under the trickery of law which allows magic with in limitations. But still the trick is know illusion. But by 1086 the Greenwood roots are real. So fake existed prior to 1086. Which predates your 12th century fiction. The Law may know your magic to be trickery with out believing the delusion themselves. Such as is required by Law. But those believing their own fools gold to be real gold are those who are delusional for they swollowed their own created illusion. The Greenwood was not chopped down. Much of the Kings wood was felled. Under the Authority of the King with his officer of the Kings' Greenwood called Mr. Greenwood. Or Crown Officer Sir or Mr.Greenwood Much of the chopped wood was used to burn Wiccans. Build Hanging beams, Tyburns or Scaffolds. Some witch burning seasons were busier than others. But the King's Greenwood would grow again. Even supplying the Navey. Some becoming great forests. You may dance with Guineve upon the lake. Hold hands and circle the oak, talk to Melin. But with the licence to do so. But if you touch the King's Oak or damage one twig of green living oak in the Kings Greenwood. You better have reason good enough for the Shirereeve who on occasions has the Kings permission to use his lower branches as a Tree Henge. 'Æng' in alt old Ænglich noun and verb which meant narrow. As the Ængles came from the Ængland where the land narrowed. Now a days called a peninsular. A narrow strip or piece of land jutting from the main land. So Ænging trees were popular. Especially for those witches who had swollowed their own illusion and couldn't remember the truth no more. Those Druids are fake. Pendragon. Fake. Well not all Pendragons. But Mr. Jail bird A. Pendragon is as fake as Jeffery of Mommoth's fiction witten as he threw in with the Normans and thought they could rewrite a Historia Britannium excluding those they saw as the enermy. What Jeffery didn't anticipate was the Normans packing their bags and leaving at the end of King Stephen's reign. Leaving Monmoth with his book of fake lies, fantasy myths and pseudo legends that would mis lead thousands of poor Welsh for generations. Therefore losing their real histories and resorting to their fables. So sure the Greenwood roots are older than your mythological Historia Britannium from the 12th century. So I have no need to rely on fake fabrications prior to the Origin of Office in the 11th Century. Who did Merlin marry then? A little fairy hobbit? Or elfish princess? Stones containg crystal are not proof those Druids are fake. Nor are elves, pixies, Gobins, Dwarves, Wainwrights, stardust of the monkeys paw. Neither are proof that any of those ceremonial self proclaiming Druids are real Priests. They have no Priestly powers at all and are not representing England, the Church of England or any ecclesiastical body with authorised holy or devine charters to do so on behalf of the Nation. They are mostly Wiccan. Some may say satanists. Others witches or warlocks. Occultists. Sham artists. Left to get on with their trickery and pseudo magic. Oh yeh. The bunny was in the hat. But pull a real five from thin air. That they can not do. But the King can. Oh a real exploding orb? You can photograph converging shafts of light now a days with fast enough film shutter speed. The Druids of pre Christian era or pre Roman era burnt what ever evidence they had to prevent it being seized by the Romans who were doing far more human sacrifice than the Druids. So as far as I know what people said about the loss of and Druidic Script is true. Or I know of none. Never heard of any. But if you have a link to real manuscripts or documents then send a link. But don't bother with the fake mountains of forgeries. 'Only smirked at through inexperience'. More swallowed delussion there. Some claiming Shamanic abilities have been proven to be charlatans. Dangerous even as historical some people died who should have been in hospital receiving treatment for serious life threatening conditions. I am not against healing. Not against the use of herbs. Not against believing in properties that cure real alements. I would be a hypocrite if I was as I studies Food Science and Nutrition at University and so know every vitamin is in use, as with out them a disease is likly or thought to be the result of a deficiency. But I am against quack cures. Charlatanism and peusdo fake healers. Pseudo fake spiritralists. Sure Satanism may be a religion. But it is theirs and not the state or people's religion. Not the choice of every one. But there atre a few. Most like more were Hanged, exercuted, burnt at the stake or put in the Gibet. A sort of iron mini wicker man for public display. But not a wicker man at all. As the Wicker Man was the Satanist Wiccan ritualistic burning. The Sword in the Stone was fake as well.

D.Adrian. I have been to Egypt. Been briefly in the Giza pyramid. I am sure they are real. I have been inside the Egyptian museum. Why shouldn't the pyramids (2,700-1,700BCE) be real. Wasn't your father real? And his father? And his father?And his father? And his father? And And his father? The construction of buildings in the circles is not a modern thing. People lived there in the 1st milenium more than 1017 years ago. They managed and maintained the stones. Yes it may not look like our modernist idea of what ancient stones should look like. And who the hell would lay a two lane road through them crossing another road? But have you any idea how popular Avebury mayhave been as a center of religious activity even in the 1st century BCE chariotees were going to and throw. Then Romans marching hither and thither for centuries. Cirenchester to Ambury was a likly principle route. It wasn't just the Neolithics who wanted to live there. Or go there. My guess is 1400 to 1500 (When it may already have been 2,500 years old) it was not being developed as a tourist attraction. Or to satisfy the astetic view point. It was a fortification with an existing road way and as with the other fortifications it's use was as an enclosure. So people lived in side. Just my opinion.

I met the shadowy head of this conspiracy in my very first lecture in Winchester all those years ago and was promised great riches and fame if I agreed to do her bidding. I am now a multi millionaire and sniff coke off prostitutes tits every night and have champagne on my rice crispies every morning. Sound fantastic?
