My Channel and social media is aimed at helping people learn about cars that they would like to buy or own. The idea for this channel came to me during the pandemic when my mum bought a new car but could not have a Handover from the Salesperson due to Covid-19. Luckily I was able to help her learn the controls of the car but instead of me being with her in person, I created videos for her to use. I then realised I could make videos for everyone in the world to watch and use. I really enjoy creating material that helps other people.

I've had this car for a year now and ONE THING NOBODY NOTICED or talks about is the little camera located right in between both infotainment (or screens) on the dashboard!!! Whats the purpose of it? Spying? 🤔
Thanks for the comment. I haven’t noticed it on the car I had in this video. I am guessing it might be a sensor for you to use hand gestures to increase or decrease the volume etc.
@DrSaahb that's definitely new IF it does have "hand gestures"... plus that would have been the main selling point as far as tech is concerned, no? I personally think it may be a feature designed to act like a front facing camera for like video calls, etc via car play? I'm about to test that theory and update accordingly 😌👌🏾

73 sounds cool for the GT but then it is a shame not to use the 63 too. I think if the car had a V8 then there would be no problem from many people for Mercedes using the 63 name.
Thanks for the comment. I haven’t test driven or been in the new Symbioz model. Have you tried resetting the screen? If that doesn’t work then you will need to take the car to your local Renault dealership to resolve under warranty. You can book this in by calling them. If it is effecting your driving then call the breakdown number which is sometimes on the windscreen in the corner. Let me know how you get on please?

You missed one major feature in the ACC system .... AUTOMATIC ACC .... When you select ACC by pressing the top left square button .. if you hold that button down it will put a Green A above the speed limit and will slow and speed up the car automatically according to the road rating on Google Maps and what it reads from the road signs. It will also slow for roundabouts and tight corners - placing a symbol that it has acknowledged them from the map. At least, it does this on my new Scenic EV
I was lucky to drive this car and this is the fastest car I have ever driven. The power of the car when it combines with the electric motor is very powerful. Have you test drive one?
@@DrSaahb its still terrible. C63 stands for 6.2L V8, thats where the name came from. Not only did they half the cylinder count from 8 to 4 in one generation they also decided to cut off more than half the displacement from the previous gen. I dont need to drive it to tell you thats lame
Totally agree with how you feel. I felt the same. I have been lucky to drive all three generations of C63 models now and the 6.2l sounded amazing and very sporty. The 4.0 litre brought luxury and more power which I feel is one of the best cars I have ever driven. This new model is super luxurious and stupendously fast. I am guessing you prefer the 6.2l which is an epic car and has allot of character. I think all three have their own characteristics and it depends on what you want from a sports car.

Oh my goodness I'm so so pleased someone has done a dummies guide to all the fancy tech on these cars. I pick my car up on Monday and even the thought of it being an automatic had me sweating lol (not driven one in 30 years). I was equal parts looking forward to and dreading picking it up but i feel a bit more confident about it now. Thankyou so much it really is appreciated ❤❤❤❤

I think you can purchase a new Garmin SD card from your local dealership and it will then be linked to your car. Don’t buy a used one because I think it will be linked to the previous owners car. Best to double check with your local Mercedes dealership to check if you can purchase the Garmin SD card. If you have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto then I would just use that.
I've owned my GLE 450 for about 3 months and learned some new things from watching your video. I cannot change the brightness of my interior lights governing the speedometer, tach, and infotainment (navigation, sound, comfort, media, etc.) They are at maximum brightness, and it's almost a distraction. I believe from your video that this should be possible with the small roller knob adjacent to the headlamp switch, but with my vehicle, this only adjusts the brightness of the illuminated doorlocks, window switches, etc. I'm thinking there's a fault that the dealer needs to repair. Would you agree?

I’ve had my Scenic Esprit Alpine in Diamond Black a week now and I just can’t stop falling in love with it. I’m so glad I took a chance with a Renault, it looks brilliant and ticks a lot of boxes
In the UK it is an option as part of a package. If your car has it, you would be able to see a small hole in the dashboard behind the front drivers screen. You might have noticed it in my GLE videos.

Thanks for the comment. I definitely want to see Hyundai models. We owned a 2015 Hyundai i30 for over a year and did like it but my wife needed a slightly smaller car at the time so downsized. I would test drive both cars and then make a decision. I haven’t driven the new shape i30 so can’t say which one I would go for. I do love my A-Class and really enjoy driving it.
Really helpful video👍 was really struggling to understand all the features.. specially the auto brake feature, also the ac controls specially even keeping it at 21 degree the ac would feel warm. This helped also will checking your other videos. Cheers mate
Thanks for the comment. I am guessing they heat up when you use the heated windscreen. Might be worth double checking with your Renault sales person if it was a fitted feature on your car.

Thanks for the comment. Yes it should be the same it is just the steering wheel is on the other side for example the left side buttons should control the drivers screen and the right side buttons should control the middle infotainment screen.

The Mercedes breakdown service is useless as they will only take you to the nearest dealer, even if it is closed! You will then have to stay in a hotel and sort it out the next day. Had a bad experience with my E300 Coupe. I’ve now got a CLE53 but have paid for separate AA breakdown cover, as they will at least get you home!
That sounds like a nightmare. I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I am surprised they did not offer a taxi to take you home and then to sort out a courtesy car the next day.
Rafale has the fuel cap in the standard place. This is one of the fully electric models. Looking at the wheels it’s not the Scenic so must be the Megane
Thanks for the comment. So the button is on the end of the stork and I think if you slightly press it then the rear wiper comes on. If you press it more firmly then the rear windscreen is sprayed with water and then the rear wiper wipes the water off.
Thanks for the comment. I didn’t use the car long enough to test the consumption. You could get the official MPG information and then knock off 10-15mpg to get a rough idea.
