@@user-kq7bg8uk9n 60amp esc freewing 2500kv 6s inrunner edf unit and 2200 zees 120c or HRB 1800mah pack or any pack that's within the dimensions of the packs listed above. Cheers and happy flying. Thanks for watching.
@AphexTwinII Sorry, but I would agree to disagree. The ones I had were absolutely hot garbage! The same linkages were also in my BH l-39, and the nose steering one popped off on the taxi test.
Update: ran this exact set up and everything was great until the 10th flight. The fan blew itself apart at max throttle during take off. The motor might be able to handle 10s but the fan has potential to fail.
Who knows, maybe the new batches are not as good. I bought another one and will try again. The performance is amazing at this price point so I gotta try again..wish me luck @ghoustanable
And this is a dog fight between freewing F22 and this fw mig 29 both with xicoy45 setup ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PF6XcL5zhzs.htmlsi=dvEcS5HSjR-Q-3u2
hey garfield! ive just faced this issue with brand new retracts for the mig29 80mm were you ever able to figure out what the issue was? ive sent a mail to motionrc as i just purchased them and they died after one run.
I see you play dangerous on your battery level 3.77 will get you into trouble one day. I never go that low and my battery's , and they don't swell, plus they last longer, good flight. just a tip.
The crash is an example of an accelerated tip stall, which this particular model is fond of doing. I noted that the plane made a fast tight turn ljust before the crash. and this resulted in an accelerated tip stall that led to the crash. This plane is what we know as the king of tip stalls. You fly slowly? You lose power? You attempt to do tight loops and abrupt changes in direction? You flare just a tad too much when landing? You take off with insufficient speed? Yes, tip stall. And no SAFE will save this model from destruction. Once you tip stall at low altitude, it's over. And this model is so heavy for its size that its wing loading suffers accordingly. Therefore, it's critical to fly it scalelike at all times, and never, ever cut the throttle on landing. This jet DOES NOT glide. It simply drops like a rock in a tip stall manner. Takeoff must be scalelike-very shallow climb, not Timber style.
Heavy into pylon racing, I discovered that you can't get an accurate speed from a radar gun standing way off to the side like that. To get a speed reading that's real, the radar gun must be in line with the approaching plane. Off to the side like that the readings will always be higher than the true speed.
136mph on 10s? I didnt like my 10s. I prefered 9s. Easier on the packs and tad less weight. Be to see if them SMC packs puffed on that 150A draw. I've read they dont dish out well on high demands. 6s yes ideal. But 9s 10s etc im happy with my Lipos. Its whats putting me off investing into a bucket load of SMC. That plus the many factory push backs for nearly 1 yr now.
To be honest with you, the blue yowoo batteries pushed out more power, and I got 327 km an hour on my first 10s setup on the f-22. See link below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ID0l-2xlOC4.htmlsi=rcpl3_E6AzppecnF
Im basically gonna run the same setup as you with the castle 160amp esc. May I ask what settings you have on your esc? Imo's cares about what timing you're running
@fortunagames5828 I'm running a Castles Creations 160amp HV ESC that has an auxiliary plug feature with it. I can connect it to a separate channel. You have to use the Castle Creations USB dongle to program the auxiliary feature for it to function as reverse thrust.
I found this to be this set up to be an Amp monster. In my F22 on 5° it was at 140A 3486W around 3.9kg thrust max. Just too much for my lipos. The 1500kv on 9s is kinder on the lipos at 130A producing 4.6kg of thrust in the F22. Thanks for the upload. I also ran this set up on my Venom too. 2.3kg plane, 3.8kg thrust and 130A draw 8°. But top speed wasnt great at 111mph. It climbs on full power and needed a down EL mix as throttle went to 75% upwards. Plus it gets the wing wave wobble with this extra speed/power. Unfortunately i destroyed it from an unrecoverable stall and demolished against a brick building.
The black horse, seagull, and phoenix model company is near my home in Vietnam, they specialize in producing very good wooden models, I produce composite models😊
Sweet yes i have afew of them batteries, im about to replace one of the one that i killed. I be running them down losing track of flight time . I wonder what the 150c ones will do or if they're really close to the 150c ?
