@AudiA8L6.0W12 Of course, the cheapest materials built into these goofy Four Ring Vehicles are simply invisible for brainless Four Ring Customers. 😄😂😆🤣 😜
I never was a fan of the ML systems in Lexus. The ML in the Lexus GS 2013 plays horrible, as well as in the IS250 from 2011. It is a bit better in the LS600h I leased years ago (2009) but no comparison to the premium sound systems in the German cars. Bang and Olufsen in the A8 D3 or even Bose in the A8 D3 sounds fantastic. Not to mention Naim in the Bentleys....
If you look at my other videos, you'll see that I also own a D3 with B&O : yes it's better, but don't forget it did cost 8k€, whereas the ML is standard in the GS Base level B&O on D5 A8 and C8 A6 are as the Bose on the D4 A8 : not exceptionnal IMO Naim for Bentley, I was very suprised to note that it's really not awesome in the Mulsanne. In the Bentayga, it simply is the better sound system I ever heard in a car, even above the Arnage T sound system
@@nomilk156 That is interesting. I loved the systems in older Volvos, for the time it was amazing. The S60 and S80 with the Dolby premium sound, or the XC90...
I actually test drove an S8 V10 many years ago and „strangled“ was the impression I had all along. Of course the engine wouldn’t be set up the same way as in the Gallardo or R8, but the whole package really didn’t work except for the sound. As evidenced in this video with it getting beaten by one of the worst engines in modern-ish history in the much heavier car.
They both suffer the same flaw : a powerful and excellent, yet very cold sound. The B&O remains better than the ML, but considering it did cost 8k, whereas the ML was stock, the best value for money is -by far- the ML. I still prefer the Dynaudio or the 12/12 hifi in VW Phaeton :)
@@nomilk156 Thanks for replying! The button on the left is to turn the trajectory lines features to dynamic-of which shows you where to park by displaying color changing lines that move when you're parking or static, in the video you have it set to static. I can't remember what the button on the right does. But I remember there was a physical button that there was a physical button that turned it on or off. Whatever you do, don't turn it off because it seems no one knows how to turn it back on... ...
@@nomilk156 I have the S8 now, love the sound, acceleration is amazing (Carbon clean done), engine is in good shape. But now I am buying the W12 LWB with unreal options, but I dont want to loose the performance :) But the S8 seats are prety uncomfortable for a big guy, and the car is too stiff.
I love my W12 I still haven't changed my name since I got it I love the idea of the W12 Audi designer man 1: hmmm all our competitors have made 12 cylinder engines But we are too lazy to make a new one what do we do Audi designer 89: how about we do what everybody else is doing and just use a s V12? I am currently in the process of retrofitting B&O to my A8 D3 and Dire Straits will definitely be the first Band I'll listen to when done. Btw. nice leather package 3. I've only got package 2 . Lovely car you got there.
Thank you ! it did cost the price of a little flat when new, but hopefully someoneelse bought it new so that I can purchase it for nearly nothing :p Soon for sale though :/
