Love, these, a time we didn't get a chance to know, Italian gangsters, Chicano, ( movie, the mask) jim Carey, so brought high fashion back to show us who only saw it in the movies
So much of what you described as history is untrue. I want to believe that you don't know what you're talking about and you were told the wrong things. But I'm starting to believe that you are up to no good. I am suspicious. You are trying to create a false history to claim ownership of real estate. I appreciate hearing it because this is the first time I am hearing it.
I loved the Burbank airport where (in the 80's & 90's) you could show up 10 minutes or less before your flight and walk on like it was a city bus. I lived in No Hwd and one time my brother visited and had a flight out. 45 minutes before the flight he was getting nervous like to jump out of his pants. I kept telling him we were 4 minutes away from the airport. He was sweating bullets.
Owen's Valley is in the rainshadow of the Sierra, so that's why it's often dry. If the runoff water wasn't diverted, Mono & Owen's Lakes would be much bigger, but those lakes are salty. The water would still have to be diverted away from those lakes if it were to be usable.
It's called cloud seeding this is not normal I've lived here all my life I don't know where you're from but in May it is always sunny and I know there's June gloom which is a good excuse for having cloud seeding and covering the freaking sky but you would still get afternoon sun so this is the biggest lie that I've ever heard in my life they are cloud seeding and they've been doing it for many many years now it's just getting worse in California because of the governor that we have
I've never been up there. Going to check it out! Always appreciate your suggestions. We are always looking for new stuff to do and LA is filled with so many great spots and a lot are free. With so much negativity in the media, I always say that I truly would never want to move. To quote Randy Newman, " I love LA." Maybe we should change it to "I Still Love LA." 😎💙🌞🌊
If King Kong had been set in Los Angeles, then King Kong could have climbed with Fay Wray to the very top of The Los Angeles City Hall and been shot down by the biplanes.
I've always wondered why West Covina was called that if it is to the south of Covina, while Irwindale is to the west of Covina. Geographically, it would make more sense for West Covina to be called South Covina.
I've rode the Metro a couple times in LA. I've had all average experiences. Aside from the smell of urine, nothing crazy or scary has happened. Most of those trips were of course on the purple and red lines.
A lot of negative comments about this area. Its actually so beautiful with its rich history, huge historic homes and seeping of culture of all kinds. It isn't without its problems but I look past it every trip I take there. USC has grown in the area and helped make it safer for its residences. I love the Adams District of Los Angeles. ❤ love your video!!!
I remember an old TV ad for VISA bank cards. A military officer (played by George Burns) walked down the aisle of a train car, checking passengers’ visas. Visa! Visa! Next stop, Covina! Passengers held up their passports. One passenger offered up his new VISA card and asked: “Is this good in West Covina?” The military guard replied: “It’s even good in East Covina!” It was the Cold War and Europe was divided into West and East by the Iron Curtain.
Tim Robbins, and Troy Aikman were born in West Covina, Shirley from What's Happening lived in West Covina. Jeremy Miller, third child in Growing Pains, was born in Covina.
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley in the 70’s. I used to go to the Van Nuys location, sometimes the Winnetka location. When the Van Nuys one closed, I occasionally went to the Northridge location.
