I love the easy way and how well you explain it. I am keeping some in my box. As soon as I get a chance I get some from the one and only Capitan Harris
Question: we fish from jet skiis. If you were to only have two rods out, (jet ski), for wahoo, what lengths and setup would you choose? Thank you. Great videos.
Nothing but the best, coming from the Captain Harry’s Fishing Supplies. I told you at the boat show, you are teaching this people to much😂😂 save some secrets for later.😂 hey great explanation, great rigs, great everything. Regards from Miami fishing Pipo Chanel. Tide lines
Have you noticed a difference in bite using cable or heavy mono? Would 200 or 220 mono work for leader? Will grouper hit the large lure with cable or mono when you slow down and try to target them? Thanks for sharing. Great videos.
My freinds and i fish the florida side gulf of mexico for wahoo and have for the most part gone to fishing 250lb or 300lb florocarbon bite leaders, the neat part is we are finding that we lose less tackle due to bite-then-off's overall versus 480lb cable. Some days it only gets bit. Floro is nothing like mono. It does not stretch like mono, but most importantly, it is very hard and will not cut like mono. Mono is useless as a bite leader. Even with 500lb, you will have trouble getting 40lb+ fish in the boat, and a lot will be lost at the boat. I do not understand why people recommend mono when the answer is literally in the same damn isle. Yes, it's expensive, because It works.
For grouper trolling, you'd use deep diving plugs and troll them around structure, somewhere between 3-6kn, and in that case i use 6 feet of 100lb fluro. I have never had too much trouble losing diving plugs due to toothy fish. Deep diving plugs in general, seem to guard the line well on their own.
@@Bartimusblue27 Thank you for the advice. Is there a depth you can recommend that works best for deep diving plugs or does it not matter because grouper will come up to chase from deep water. I heard gag will chase but you have to troll close to red grouper.
Harry no one out there explains it better. So funny how you compare fast foods to the different Lures 😂. It was an honor to meet you in person at the Miami Boat Show. Sincerely, Avelino from the Miami Fishing Pipo Channel.
