Did the job for 30. Had a walking route for 15 in NJ.last 15 was lucky and had a mounted route.. Loved the job being outside all sorts of weather.The only thing was for basically 25 years I was constantly battling mgmt.These people who failed at being a carrier or clerk would put on a tie and become an absolute doucheag.It was ridiculous.Its a great job but. But beware of the bullshit you are going to have to live with .Thank god when I hit the streets great customers.

If you are a new Letter Carrier make sure to READ the National Agreement. Know your rights as you are under contract. Management will abuse and use you unfairly if they can get away with it.
