I still can't get over the fact that Brain Castillo has the last part in a video he directed for a company he ran... and it's edited to Dream On by Aerosmith, no less. Haha. Is that the BMX equivalent to the time Quentin Tarantino wrote a scene into his own movie where he got to suck on Salma Hayek's toes?
Lots of history, lots of memories, lots of knowledge, lots of bikes but mostly a crap ton of miscellaneous parts. Nice to finally meet GAry. Cool video, thank you for making it 👍 My favorite bikes are Schwinn Sting earlier the better, Kuwahara KE-1 and the early Mongoose. Does he have a KE-1?
The 95 Fueler is a awesome bike, also a great build. The 98 actually did have the 990/ U brake chain stay mounts like you guys were talking about preferring, that's the only version of the classic style Fueler that used them.
@snakebite BMX or everyone, Do you have the clear or close his ( Mike D) bully bmx photos of he used on this Video? can you share the link if you found one. Appreaciated a lot. I got bully couple years a go looks similiar like he used on this video. Thank you
Shad you rule! If you could upload the Corrupted Video which is a bonus on Left Right in the bonus menu that would be AMAZING, Thats me and my friends in high school.. you have a Navaz/Tom White split part. Its sick.
My primary race bike when I was a serious BMXer was a JMC Black Shadow. I raced ABA expert class. From memory, that was my frame in 14 expert and 15 expert. I raced 5 days a week, mom driving me all over the place in Michigan. If one of you builds up this frame to actually ride it, be aware that several of the Black Shadow frames suffered head tube cracks just below the downtube. My frame was replaced twice by the local bike shop for a hairline crack there before I finally replaced with a GT. Just something to keep an eye on; I never had a catastrophic failure, but given that you can't just go buy a replacement today... I did love the Black Shadow frame, the geometry was perfect for me. I won a lot of races on that frame, and a podium at nationals.
