I got me a Recon 1 Tanto years ago, man, I like it! You can use it hard, stab, cut, split, shave, dig.... you name it. Only one issue I found out the hard way, due to the hollow grind happened it, that the edge is now in snake like lines. I split mybe too hard wood with it, and the thin edge could not stand it. Clearly MY FAULT! But I would buy it again, just remember the problem with hard wood. Overall, highly recommended knife!
Orange mora companion hd carbon. It was dull when i bought it, the carbons edge dulls from exposure to air, but in less then 15 minutes of hand sharpening on a wet stone, it went from butter knife to sharpest knife I own. I used it to carve a piece of hard wood and it kept its edge for over an hour and was still plenty sharp regardless. The next sharpening was only 5 minutes and it was back to cutting through feed bags like a light saber through a Trade Federation bulkhead.
Bk-7 by k-bar is my tactical Bowie of choice have had one for years only two cons I have about it is the handle it super smooth which can make it difficult to handle when wet and that I haven’t scene much love for it online . Can anyone tell me y it didn’t make the list or any problems they have with it ?
Generic regurgitated video of “just in case” stuff you probably won’t need to use. Didn’t even see a container or a water bottle, no cover whatsoever. Lots missing, this is bad.
I get the idea and appreciate it. But the things he uses are WAY too big. Can have many more options. You think you can only fit 8 or 9 things, then its 12, 14 etc. Its fun.
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, greetings from Northern California. Thank you for sharing this informative video. You're set for just about any emergency. Stay safe out there. 😊
Very cool video. I carry my folder in a secret holding device right at my gig line. Easy for me to reach and pull in an emergency self defense situation. I would not want a knife that has a safety to deploy the blade.
It’s been a year. What happened? So to return something you have to reach out by email or can you just send it back?Seems like a waste of employee time to actually talk to someone. For instance, when you buy some thing off of Amazon, you don’t have to actually talk to somebody. You can just click a few buttons on your screen and then send it back. I know with knives it’s kind of weird because they have to make sure you didn’t use the knife, but there’s gotta be a better way.
The Eldris knife has the blade length that it has because of Swedish knife laws. If you’re not working or doing some sort of hobby or activity like hiking, hunting or fishing, it’s not allowed to openly carry a blade that is 6 cm or longer in a public area.
