Daoirí (pronounced ‘Derry’) Farrell has been described by some of the biggest names in Irish folk music as one of most important singers to come out of Ireland in recent years.
His album 'True Born Irishman’ was released in October 2016. Daoirí won two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards - Best Traditional Track and Best Newcomer - and performed with a six piece line-up at the awards ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Daoirí has since brought out a third solo album called "A lifetime of happiness", recorded and produced by Donal Lunny.

Fine sound. I like your good steady playing, well done. Mind that one, don't ever sell it. Lovely balanced sound, not over sweet like some cheaper ones. Great volume.
I stumbled on your videos whilst looking at Octave Mandolin's, something I want but. Wow, beautiful music. Blown away. Such honesty & genuine heart, watched loads of your videos
Hello Daoiri, I just discovered your wonderful music a few months ago and now I'm hooked! Such an amazing sound. I love the sound of the Irish Bouzouki so much that I had to order one from a music store there in Ireland. I can't play it too well yet but I'm sure trying! Thanks for sharing your music with us!!
