I'm on Monterey. Bought iCloud 2T account 2 days ago & it has been a f*&^&^Ting nightmare since!!!. Was out of space on my MacBook. I moved the photos library from my internal SSD to an external drive. I then bought a 2 TB iCloud account so I can also have a back up of my photos and everything there. I don't know what the hell this bloody thing is doing without asking me, but my photos library which was now moved a couple of days ago to an external drive it was around 350 GB. Ever since I have been opening the photos app holding down the option key and selecting the photos library on the external disk. Yesterday I found out that for some reason there was 0 kB left on my external disk. There should've been over 50 GB last I remembered. I didn't know how that happened so I deleted some files. Later during the day again I got the notification that there was no disk space left on my external disk. When I double click the photos library on my external disk to open photos so I can see my media, I got the notification "there is not enough disk space to migrate your library. free up additional space on disk"... I never asked for anything to be migrated. WTF??? I thought migrated was a misnomer or something and then it just meant that the library photos library on the external desk was being synced to iCloud therefore creating a duplicate all of my photos library on iCloud photos... On iCloud photos it says the zero photos are in it! Still.... Every time I free more space on the external disk by deleting other files but I never wanted to delete in the first place, the photos library keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. That means this iCloud piece of shit is fucking up my entire photos library by making a bigger I don't know what it's done inside. I need my photos library the way it was before iCloud started fucking things up. And how the hell does that stupid iCloud start migrating anything without asking me if I want to migrate. I want my photos library back to the way it was two days ago and whatever that idiotic iCloud has done to disappear I don't want anything else inside it. Any help you can provide? And what the hell is going on?

Hey, I'v followed this video and moved my photos library to an external drive (in an exFAT format) and now i can't import any photos in to that library. It worked directly after i'd done it but now when i go to import a get an error saying "there was an error attempting to free up disk space for import".... But there's plenty of space.... Does anyone know why this would happen and how to fix it? Thanks
O M G I struggled getting the USB door open...because N O N E of the other YTube videos showed any info on opening that tricky door. Not wanting to damage a borowed Hero5, I was reluctant to force anything. Your video was so helpful unlike the others. Many thanks.
❤Fixed the problem! The hardest part was getting the old screws out and WD40 did the trick! Sprayed the two spots with the same as indicated and it started right up!
My problem is structural, not electrical. The plastic rachet assembly parts that hold this Honeywell fan in different positions have cracked and deteriorated. I need replacement parts. The fan and motor are fine. I hate to give up on an entire, operating fan because of some plastic parts that won't allow the fan to stay affixed to the support arms. Unfortunately, it's impossible to find out a Honeywell corporate address online to whom I can appeal for parts, and all of the Honeywell addresses in the owner's manual are dead. What do you suggest?
Hi there! I transferred my iPhoto library from my computer to my external hard drive but now I can't open my iPhotos library on my computer without my external hard drive being plugged in? I think I may have lost some photos in this process somehow :(. Is there a way for me to have iPhotos on my computer again and transfer it back from my external hard drive? Help!
Any transfer from iCloud to a desktop erases all metadata. It then replaces the date and time to the day it was transferred. This renders photos/videos useless since they all have the same date. You can no longer find anything because all the media has the same date. I spoke with Apple countless times over 6 months and they had no solution. What a terrible company is.
THANKS A LOT!!! I almost threw away my turbo fan, but I found your video and fixed it 🎉😂❤👍👏👏👏👏👏👏. I couldn't open it but spray the best I could the oil. WONDERFUL 💖 💖 💖 It works for me. Thanks Thanks Thanks ❤😊
We need a whole lot more video as to how to take this apart and any little odds and ends to be aware of. As well as possible "fine tuning." Other videos are quite detailed but I was hoping there might be a little more description/direction in case the other videos may have forgotten to mention some stuff. This was no help at all.
Indeed a blessing. Thank you sir! I purchased an external hard drive so as to delete my apps and then redownload them to my external. Seeing this vid helped me determine that my apps take up nowhere near the amount of space on my Mac SSD that my photos do. I just cleared so much space! Again thanks!
The WD40 solution worked, and I didn’t have to take the fan apart. I just put the lubricant on while the fan’s power was still off. I gave it a few minutes like you said & it worked like new. It’s still running after 5 minutes! I appreciate the help so much!
