the surface thickess is 1/8 of an inch. Standing on it will most likely damage/deform the surface if there is not enough support underneath, however it is not recommend to stand on it, the surface can be slippery if it gets wet.

Hello! This particular material is 1/8" of an inch thick, thus making it to thin to be used as boat decking. Also the type of surface would be very slippery, which can be very dangerous for a boat.

Talking about surfaces, I have successfully used on several projects 1/16-inch-thick galvanized sheets. I have had to introduce dimples in locations where the screws will be introduced to hold the surface down to the flex-pipe structure and permit boxes of materials to slide freely on them. I always round off the edges to remove all sharpness and limit the surface to the edges of the pipes. Properly prepared plastics would be preferable any day. Thank you for the presentation.
Just did the math... Grand total for this setup on their website (2022-June-2): $39.35, excluding tax, shipping, and the HDPE sheet, which they are currently listing for $205.... I'm assuming you want to buy that elsewhere.
