Bonds all time HR leader and single season HR leader not in the HOFthats wrong 7 MVP awards might have had 10 if not for Terry Pendleton Jeff Kent n one other. Pete Rose hit king not in HOF a shame. What about Dave Parker or my favorite center fielder Andrew Jones??
Bauer was crazy...but I don't like that he's blacklisted in baseball when he never had legal ramifications in his issue. Look I get he's far from innocent. But the dude was thrown to the wolves of the paparazzi and then was not found guilty .... Idk. He's not a good person. But the dude can pitch. Catch the 90s Yankees needing a good arm n see how fast steinbrenner woulda had him in pinstripes.
Fire Melvin and the Arab. Trade, Yaz, Soler, Conforto, Flores, Snell, Chapman and Casali. Pay Murphy his 4 million and tell him to not show up for ST 25. Eliminate all analytics. Just play the best players
The biggest compliment you can give Zaidi is that a roster of his castoffs would 105 games. The most truly negative thing you can say about Zaidi is that a roster of his castoffs would 105 games. The bottom line is that this guy Zaidi is just too much with his whole routine and all that.
Late Charley Pride. He sang the Star Spangled Banner before the start of 1 game of the 1973 World Series. The New York Mets faced the Athletics in Oakland. Clint Eastwood of Oakland Technical High School 🏫 threw the 1st pitch. The same school where a few years later Rickey Henderson would attend and later be drafted by the same Athletics. Missing. Billy Crystal 🔮 He was offered a baseball ⚾️ scholarship at Marshall. But, when the sport folded, he returned home 🏡. He eventually became an actor.
Missing. Relief pitcher Eddie Rommel of the Philadelphia Athletics. Late Phil Niekro said that Joe had a slider, a pitcher Joe never delivered. Late Chuck Tanner managed the 1973 White Sox. 4 and 1/2 man rotation. Wilber Wood hurled a 24-20 record, 359 and 1/3 innings and 21 CG c/o the knuckleball. Terry Forster split between Number 5 and relief with 12 GS and 12 SV. Their teammate who is in the Hall of Fame is Rich Gossage.
I thought about the 1982 Joe Morgan home run against the Dodgers in the last day of September that crashed their playoff hopes would be on the list. That Bonds 93 homer in the opener was huge, because it was foreshadowing. Great job with the videos.
Sweptado! You are crushing it with the Spanish man. Love your energy, recaps and baseball knowledge. Found you off one your video top 10 list. Northern California Dodgers fan here.
Imagine if they all come up at the same time and hit like they did in College, our middle of the lineup would look absolutely disgusting, hopefully no more LOL RISP
My other thought ... that entire sequence of clips of Milton Bradley is just Eric Wedge having to try to restrain him at multiple stops through their careers. Like ... Wedge had to try to manage both Milton Bradley AND Brandon Phillips together for a few seasons, and unfortunately Cleveland traded away Phillips first instead.
Your lists are pretty good that I've seen. McGriff did get in since this video. Strongly agree with most of your players but I would also consider Carlos Delgado a major snub too
