No one has suggested that "Christianity be banned from every form of government." For one thing, that is scarcely possible, even were it were efficacious, because most Americans are Christian. The secularists you demonize, and BTW "secularist" is not a synonym of "atheist," merely accept and defend the notion that the Constitution established a secular republic in which NO religion took precedence over others. You were fine with that as long as people like you controlled everything. But, changing demographics and increasing religious diversity have caused you a deep dysphoria that you address by insisting that, in fact, YOUR religion DOES take precedence and that our culture, including our laws and customs, should conform to YOUR beliefs. In short, your problem is that you loathe America, you execrate it, and YOU will only feel at ease if a theocracy that codifies your beliefs, that forces those beliefs on the rest of us, is established.
