Thank you for the update. I was looking for my grandmother's house in Mt. Pleasant but did not see it. I am keeping everyone in my prayers and asking the Lord to provide the resources and manpower needed to rebuild. ❤
Tophill is where I call home. Mt. Royal was my playground. I ran up and down the hill to Mt. Pleasant. Grand Bay is the home of my ancestors... Seeing my childhood memories shattered and flattened is heartbreaking. Carriacou I love you. I will always love you. You will ALWAYS be my favorite place on earth. We will rebuild. I appreciate your comments about the trees especially the ancient ones. They could be replanted if you dig a hole and the machinery can just lift them straight up into place again. You might even consider to cover the roots as they lay there too. Trees are resilient. I hope to help with replanting of fruit trees on Carriacou when I get back.

Thanks for this update. I was in Mount Pleasant on the day the hurricane hit (came back to the UK this time last week). We were lucky, all things considered... it was absolutely heart breaking to see what the hurricane had done to the island.

Goodday, that was really a powerful storm, but don't be upset with mother nature, we must now learn from the other buildings that got minor damage ,how to reconstruct better and safer. Condolences to the families who lost loved ones.....sad.
