Thanks for the sub! I totally agree with you, but the Laravel Team now hired dedicated people to the Nova Project to make it more elegant for future releases. Let's see how it goes. 😊✌️
Why is the default link "localhost/home/IMG_2089.JPG" Does not "127.0.0.1:8000/home/IMG_2089.JPG" contain the link "localhost" how can I edit it to the correct IP?
I’m amazed that such an enterprise application team would risk using such bleeding edge tools and unverified tools like nova (which sucks) 😂 rather than going for a safer route....
Great talk. I oddly enough picked up WordPress after like 5+ years of Laravel development. The DX definitely ain't the best and my brain ain't really wired for functional programming. But it remains the best free open-source CMS out there imo. Would be really awesome if we had something like WordPress and WooCommerce for Laravel.
Great talk, but I would have loved to seen some more complex examples, for e.g. how can index help when you have to use joins, what about functional indexes etc...
Thank you. Kai did a fantastic introduction talk to database indexing. Planet Scale does offer more in depth courses. Check it out here: planetscale.com/learn/courses/mysql-for-developers/introduction/course-introduction Hope this can help you out. 🙏
I have upgraded to livewire 3 from livewire 2. having a lot of livewire component. Want to use `liveiwre/volt`. But getting error in regular livewire page while adding `App\Providers\VoltServiceProvider::class` in `config/app.php` `providers` array. Normal error like `Undefined variable`. Despite being variable defined. for Example: In a blade file I assigned a variable `$hello = 'world'`. In very next line I am printing `echo $hello`. Output `undefined variable $hello`. just after adding `App\Providers\VoltServiceProvider::class` class. If I comment/delete this provider from provider array everything working as expected
Can you provide a GitHub repository to the problem? Afterwards I can look deeper into the problem. Thank you for your time. 😊🫶 Did you surround the echo statement with a @volt and @endvolt directive?
@@laravel-switzerland-meetup just simple echo $variablename. echo just an example. no variable work. It's our company repo. project belongs to a fintech company. It would be really good for you to understand the code if I could give repo access to you. Thanks for your helpful intention
Man I have been in development since 2015, just memorized some rules about indexes, but never understood until I watched this video. Thank you very much for explaining like I am 5 years old.
@@laravel-switzerland-meetup Loved it ! Really insightful, especially the composite index part. Also really liked the visuals that made it lot more easy to understand those concepts :)
Excellent talk with a very helpful real example! You got the balance just right between keeping it short but also going deep enough to show the power of the package. And I liked that you took an example written with the Http facade and refactored it step-by-step to Saloon, instead of starting from scratch and building out a Saloon example. Well done and thanks! 👍
I really love to use PHP. You can get so much stuff done with it in really short time. 😍 See this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PXx9_FFZi8A.html
I did not run into any problems so far. It's a different approach on building smooth web applications. I would recommend trying it out for a day and see if it can fit your requirements. 😇
