I love it as well, my favorite thing atm. I paid more for it, and I still think it's well worth the money for the enjoyment I get out of it every day. 😃
@h3techreviews oh 100% i got a partybox 110 but I use my soundbar indoors so I know what you mean :) I wasn't hating BTW I love it too the lights are really cool and the battery built in is legit amazing :D
@@jbllfmer4146 Soundbar was the first thing I got that I was like this is amazing, but after having the speaker it's probably a 1000 times better for music, soundbar is amazing for movies tho like it should be, but for music it doesn't even come close. Yeah my friend also has 2 of older either 110's or 100's don't remember exactly, and they sound amazing as well, on ultimate lights are great as it has lights everywhere, although I don't really care about all the microphone stuff that could be removed, the only thing I dislike is no option to turn on / off the speaker on the phone app, as u get every other option in there already, that would be nice
I played this song many times on my 710s and they have an issue where in some instances female vocals (in this song in particular) will sound higher pitched to the point where it's almost ear piercing. I suppose Ultimate doesn't have this issue? Since it has mid range drivers.
I've never had that happen on this speaker, with this or any other song. I'm used to listening to music really loud, I listen on 70 - 80% most of the time, I only use 50% max volume when I record it for youtube, even at that point youtube compression and normalized volume makes it much worse so no point for more volume, for this song specifically is normalized volume to 80% on youtube for example.
@@h3techreviews Thanks. I'm planning to get the Ultimate so that's reassuring. I love my 710s but they do have some occasional issues like the one I described above. Ultimate seems much more refined.
@@LukeR1M I've never heard one in person and never had a big speaker, just watched reviews on RU-vid before I bought mine. Was deciding between 710, 1000 and ultimate at the time, but throughout all the reviews I watched both 710 and 1000 to me sounded muddy and not clear, I don't know if that's how they sound or just RU-vid issues, but ultimate sounded way cleaner to me and bass sounded better as well, that's why I got that one, along with having wifi and being able to stream trough airplay, spotify connect, tidal connect, chromecast etc.
@@h3techreviews Yes. Ultimate will sound much better because it's a 3-way speaker. Ultimate has subwoofers whereas 710 only has woofers. Difference being Subwoofers only handle lower frequencies while woofers play both bass and mid. So the bass on 710 won't be as refined as on the Ultimate and will also impact the vocals and instruments. That's why it may have sounded muddy to you. Ultimate has separate drivers to handle each frequency so it will be clearer sounding, bass will be fuller and richer and it won't impact the mids, making the vocals crisp and clear.
@@h3techreviews 710 is still phenomenal for it's price though. And if someone doesn't have analytical ear, they won't perceive that much difference. Cheers.
I'm certain all of youtube would really like to see a video serving as a "real life" style bass test. Would you please be able to make another video playing a portion of each of the following songs with start time (x:xx) <<< the drops? No worries, those parts aren't cursing or nasty. No Hands - Waka Flocka Flame (1:10), The Hills - The Weekend (0:40), Put On - Jeezy (0:00) Really Really - Kevin Gates (0:00)
Hi, I can try it again but it can't be shown correctly in a RU-vid video from my experience, I actually had some tests playing Kevin Gates - really really and bunch of other songs that have decent bass or bunch of it, I had more than 30 videos that I haven't uploaded. The main reason for it is firstly RU-vid compression for every song so it already doesn't sound as close as it should, neither volume or bass, but the main issue is normalized volume on RU-vid, for any of those bass songs I've played on 50% volume on the speaker, it sounds amazing in person, but on RU-vid it literally normalizes volume to 60% which makes it awfull for trying to record any song with good bass, even songs without bass I have a bunch where it normalizes it to 70% which at that point ruins the listening experience. That's the main reason I don't have these tests on RU-vid right now, as normalized volume ruins the song completely.
