I don't know that much about datapavks and mods specifically, just some programming knowledge, but is making things multiplayer compatible that difficult? I mean, yeah, of course it's gonna be difficult if you have to rewrite the whole code, but other datapacks manage to get over those hurdles. I don't know how java handles things, but i'm used to object-oriented programming. In which you could just make a few adjustments to the code of the paraglider, and with a single line of code create create a new paraglider assigned to x player, and same with other objects. Though of course, multiplayer would introduce specific problems, like what if two players try to magnesis the same object and such
I assume that the general audience doesn't know or care about the difference. Every gamer knows what a mod is. Relatively few know what a datapack is. Using the word "mod" is a lot more clickable while still getting the idea across
I watched this video YEARS ago and came back to it because I suddenly remembered you having the same issue I am currently with teleporting entities to the player with a datapack I'm making. Thanks for showing your process of trial and error, cause it's pointing me in the right direction of how to fix my issue!
@Oddle_ I've played undertale a good couple times, probably forced around 9 of my friends and family to play it too. Amazing game, amazing soundtrack. As for the license, Toby Fox says we can use the music so long as we're not trying to use it to sell stuff, and the publishing company that has the rights to the music says on their website that "let's plays, speedrun, commentary, or other videos that uses the original music alongside game footage" should be just fine to use undertale and deltarune music in the background. They say that if you get a copyright claim on a video along those lines, just dispute it and they'll try to take care of it. This is different from how it was a few years ago, though. I believe that around the time that pointcrow did his undertale playthrough, Toby Fox said something like "it was a mistake that everyone's been getting copyright strikes this whole time. You should be able to use my music from now on" (huge paraphrasing)
about the master cycle, if ur using a horse, u could use the jumping function to jump, its way way more intuitive than other ways of doing it nyalso, the bike should lean more or less during turns depending on the speed, because having it be constant even at slower speeds looks weird
Okay my fold but instant you use levitation use the new gravity value you can set it negative so can fall up in stat telephone, nice for get an up warts motion too like an elevator.
the thing you showed at 26:26 could be used to make a gravity wave bomb, instead of it touching the ground like a normal bomb would it can pull the player towards the wave and then explode when the player touches the source of the wave the bomb should stop at 5 blocks high of the player hight and its upgrade should be able to stick to walls...just my idea I guess but use it if you like I just wanna see a cool new bomb made ^^

I don't even make minecraft datapacks and I still thank mojang for display entities every day because of all the power they have given the people who do, and all the incredible things they're able to make with them
THIS, This right here @ 13:20 is WHY I love making plugins over datapacks. WE have ALL of that, co sine, sine, math pow, everything I will never be able to deal with data packs because of this XD Also later on sliced lime came in clutch xD
