I Am a Numanoid. I make Gary Numan related content such as instrumentals, lyric videos and rare songs by both Gary and other related artists that we should all have the pleasure of hearing.
Numan has certainly blessed himself with some outstanding bass players. Paul Gardiner, Mick Karn and Pino Palladino to name but a few. And let's not forget Alan Partridges "air bass" to "Music for Chameleons". Many thanks for posting your choices IAAN 🖤
Indeed! I believe that without Paul Gardiner, Gary wouldn’t be where he is today. He was so enthusiastic and supportive of everything he did, and stuck by him all the way.❤
Some may disagree, but for me with "Replicas" Numan was saying "I am here", with "Sacrifice" he was saying "I am back!" It really doesn't get much better than "A seed of a lie". Thanks for posting IAAN 🖤
I completely agree with you Seth. I only discovered Tubeway Army on the 24th May 1979 when I saw their performance of "Are Friends Electric?" on TOTP. I had to go back in time to find their first eponymously titled album and associated singles 🧡
@@christopheradderley45 I got into it right after I heard Cars on the Radio. Luckily I had some good friends that took me back in time to TubeWay Army. I loved it all and still listen to on a pretty regular basis!!!!
Freaking cool song!!!!! I loved it!!!! Gary's the best!!!! Song sounded to me like an 80's theme song from a movie. Should have been in Big Trouble in Little China. LMAO!!!! Thanks for posting!!!! I truly enjoyed it!!!!!!!
There aren't many upsides of being 60, but being in my teens when Tubeway Army and Gary Numan walked into my life when I was in High school is one of them. Thankyou for posting my suggestion 🖤
I'm not human. I'm an ALIEN. Just like Gary so that makes me a Numanoid. I just subscribed!!!!! Thank you very much!!!!! This is incredibel by the way!!!!! Listened to Down In The Park just yesterday to prove I'm a Tubeway Army fan!!!!!
I think that unless you were actually there in '79 it's impossible to understand just how utterly revolutionary this track was. May 24th 1979, fifteen years old watching TOTP, I was completely mesmerised by Tubeway Army's performance of "Are Friends Electric?" I'd never seen or heard anything like it. I bet that I didn't blink once. It wasn't just a song, it was the future 🖤
Will do mate. I've just stumbled across your channel by pure accident tonight. I've liked, subscribed, commented here and stuffed the chicken ready for Sunday dinner 👍
