Your explanation of how to learn any song starting with the basics and moving towards more intricate as you get more comfortable is spot on for how professionals learn new songs so quick.
Really enjoyed this tutorial. I like the balance between theory and practical demonstrations of chords. Maybe you a lesson for ELO’s ‘Rock and Roll is King’ would be interesting for your followers? Thanks for posting.
Wow. Amazing!! I must force myself to train my fingers to somehow hit those keys. In time. In key. Great stuff, you are an amazing tutor!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!
thank you for letting me discover Bill Joel which I didn't really know. for the next tutorials I would love more elton john, (don't let the sun go down onme) the beatles (any song I love them all, as long I learn a new groove or technique i'm alsway delighetd), bowie... but it's also nice to discover new songs to like ! Thanks brenda
Brenda if you play Bbma7 Am7 Gm7 and you change the last chord with F on the bass left hand and A C E with the right hand you can have LOVIN YOU from Minnie Riperton . What do you think? thank you
What i found that helps me doing solfege is to go from MI TO DO OR FA TO DO sol to DO but not starting at DO and practicing in different keys by doing this your brain is going to hear other notes. Thanks for your tips that was nice
Brenda, thank you! I'm actually learning it with you! Been watching many videos but yours is the only one that makes sense and it's simple to understand and play! Thank you!
Great video as usual. Thank you. Any chance of producing a video of What’s Going On from Marvin Gaye? There are so few tutorials on this song on RU-vid. I did like Mercy Mercy Me. Thank you.
Hi Brenda, Am I right to assume that you need to be a resident in Canada in order to qualify for grants from there? I'm an American citizen who's living in Belgium. I am going to record an album in 2025 and am looking for grant sources in North America and Europe. Thank you for this informative video!
Brenda this is so awesome. Thank you. I just learned this. I always wanted to learn this but I thought it would be so difficult. Your an amazing teacher. Maybe back in the USSR from the beatles next? Im sure you get alot of requests. Keep up the amazing work
As a bass player diving into quarter note triplets, I have searched YT, looking for a coherent explanation of how to dissect this. BY FAR, the best video I have seen. THANK YOU!
Good job! Please, can you do a video of the complete play you started at 7:07? You stopped halfway it seems but I really wish to know full of it. Thanks for the great work!
