I am a mechanic as my full time job but love to detail my cars and cars for my friends, family, co-workers and referrals on the weekends. I am not a professional detailer nor do I own my own business. I am just a guy that loves cars and loves them more when they are spotless. I have been doing this since I was 16. I am not the best out there but I love taking a fair looking car and turning into a head turner.
I may do videos on tools, mechanical videos etc. but the majority of my videos will be automotive detailing.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing could you send me the link of the one that you? I recently used Adam's Advanced graphene spray... So I would like to use something like right after I do a car wash for a quick wipe down nothing complicated like the one I just used. Not that it was complicated but more time-consuming.
I have coated 3 of our vehicles with a combination of DIY Detail 8/3 or 5/3 years ceramic coatings including the windshields. How do I prepare the windshields receive this coating?
They have one on my truck they be pushing the button stalling my out wen they veel like it looked under driver side opened it nun but im trying to find it my truck came from auctions and they Ben breaking into my truck while I'm sleep in it homeless any locations in mind 2002 Cadillac Escalade
Over the top. It’s not negative. It’s just so many steps! Now thanks to you, I’m going to polish the wiper arms of my Challenger. I’ll use a 3 inch black or orange foam pad on drill.
I think I want to try this.... For those of us that only have 3 vehicles to do, how long will the bottle last when opened? I hate to waste $$... We was in a drought until this huge storm came through 😢
@KatrinaTrys I use it on ALL of the vehicle's windows. You should be able to coat all of the windows on all three vehicles with one bottle. Up here in snow country, it should really help keep the other windows clear of snow.
Great thinking when it comes to polishing the wiper arms. Like the ease to which the coating is applied and removed. My question is, at what temperature can it be applied, highest to lowest ?
@@jimlove3795 Hey Jim! Yeah polishing wiper arms is all new to me but man does it look good when you’re done. I would say 50 degrees at the lowest and 80 at the highest
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Thanks Brian, appreciate it. I’m definitely going to do my wiper blade arms. Small detailing tips like that can make all the difference. It was a little weird though seeing it polished with a 6 or 5 1/2 inch polisher.
@@diydetailofficial Thank you for teaching us the ropes. I’ve learned so much, I adopted your polish method also, great results, faster, cleaner and I save pads like no tomorrow. The pad washer is a revolutionary tool.
I’m using the c6 glass on my cx5 Turbo, it’s amazing. Once past about 15 mph, no wipers needed. It’s so hydrophobic in the rain, I could tell the wind direction as it was blowing the rain along with the wind gusts here in Oklahoma. I was traveling about 35 mph on city streets. I let my coats flash about 45 min in the summer humidity. You can certainly tell there’s a chemical bonding going on during the leveling/ wipe off as there was significant static electricity. Impressive glass coating. There’s so much left over, I hope it stays fresh a while as I sell to customers, I always want to try on my personal vehicles. Great product.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailingyou could also use it on shower glass. Same prep process can be used on shower glass. After care: just use rinseless on a damp rag then wipe with a dry rag after each shower takes less than a minute and works so much better than a squeegee. It’s just another service you can offer. Did it for my uncle while house sitting/dog sitting while he was on vacation. He loves it and mentions the shower every time he sees me now.

I truly see the first issue with this really great product, the screen/screen resolution is not good enough, you cant see enough information on one screen that sometimes is crucial. But price/capabilities of this this thing are absolutely wicked
@@violetandi Hopefully we will be here. T they are saying 50 MPH wind gusts tomorrow and if that’s the case we are going to tear down and go home. All of us vendors have been talking about it. Our canopies can’t handle that. Hopefully it doesn’t happen and you can swing by
