Canción preciosa. Grandes recuerdos con EW&F. Bill Champln la compuso para que ellos la inmortalizaran.

I was there that day. Luckily I brought several gallons of water with me. By the end of the show it was all gone. When walking back to my car after the show several people saw me carrying the now empty container and offered to trade some acid and hash to me for a drink. I had nothing to trade with left unfortunately.

I'm watching this in 2024 and wondering why the women in the audience seemed so divorced from the atmosphere in that room. No one smiling, let alone moving and grooving with that great music.

Robert Lamm was married to this person. Now I think she is married to a Japanese lady. Don't know anything about her. I think she may work for the arts in NY but not sure.

That was "my" Chicago with Terry Kath, Peter Cetera, Danny Seraphine, Walt Parazider, Lee Loughnane and James-Jimmy- Pankow! Wow. 50 years ago. Heard Tham on September 1st live ( with EWF) in Concorde /CA /USA and they are still rocking the show! True artists and great musicians who love what they play!

Thanks to Walter Parazanzer who had the idea of bringing horns to rock and roll.

It was a big mistake from Cetera to quit with Chicago.

Girl, well it's been one of those days again And it seems like the harder I try Over and over, I'm right back where I began But you understand Oh girl, when nothing else in this world goes right Oh I just want to run to you You pull me through Oh baby, who wouldn't want to have you in their life? Tell me: what kind of man would I be Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man would I be? Times when it was pointless for me to try I was more than a desperate man What seemed like forever was gone with one touch of your hand Oh, girl, if I could count all the sleepless nights When you were there for me A fool could see, oh baby Once that I found you there was no letting go. Tell me: what kind of man would I be. Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man would I be? Tell me: what kind of man would I be Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man would I be? What kind of man would I be Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man Tell me what kind of man Tell me what kind of man would I be? Tell me what kind of man would I be?

Message to the Year 2984: A "Master Copy" of this song is shielded away from humanity's stupidity of 2025 deep within the good ol' USA "Nuclear Bunker" System recessed under the Great Rocky Mountains. If you can find it you will see we weren't all bad.

The bridge towards the end of the song 4:32 when the horn players play the melodic part, that truly sounded like Chicago in the ‘70’s and made me think of my mom and immediately brought me to tears. That was a nice touch that fans can hear come out of no where in live performances.

Pretty much the curtain call on the Classic Chicago sound era, beginning with, well, Beginnings on CTA and ending with this tune. Beginnings, Make Me Smile, Saturday in the Park, Old Days all had that big brassy jazz rock sound, lost after Kaths passing and the era from Hot Streets onwards, with a few highlights like Baby what a Big Suprise before the pop sound era
