yo i just wanted to stop by and say thanks for playing rebuild the capital ive always been really interested in it but my crap-top cant run ttw but your playthrough was really good and i hope you play some more of it when the next update drops
Hey thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! I'll for sure head back out to DC when rebuild the capital updates :) it's one of my favorites, even if I have to read everything myself lol
Oh yes-! Forgive me, I forget which UI mod exactly does that - it's one that has a LOT of UI changes/improvements so its hard to pin down - but I do really enjoy it too lol
@@chrismaples9392 yess! It's so enjoyable seeing the number go up... And even down. 76 may have had a lot of problems at launch, but I will never hate it's caps counter thing
Honestly? No idea lol. Maybe he got nerfed for ttw, or maybe one of my other mods screwed up the damage of his weapons or something idk- but, y'know. He's trying his best lol
@@LateNightGayms looking at it, it's seems to be that TTW has adjusted alot of the Random spawns to be able to reach the cap for F3, none of the companions in F3 handle Mutant Overlords too well. It's also why you run into so many Albino Radscorpions.
@@chrismaples9392 ah, the albino radscorpions... My worst enemy... But yes I suppose that makes sense for why companions feel weaker than normal. Hell they removed dogmeat's insane amount of health given after Broken Steel, too now that I think about it - I had to change that back myself so the poor pup can stay tanky :p
Med-X is useful for DR against damage types you can't easily resist, like poison, or fire. Ironically your Hardened power armor provides minor resistance to both.
I never knew that lol Tbh I don't think Ive EVER used chems in any fallout (other than radaway+stimpacks) so I'm basically flying blind with most of that type of stuff lol
@@LateNightGayms honestly, you are missing out Abit if you do that, but as someone who does close to the same, I understand. Outside of extremely rare super hard fights, or rare instances where the stat boost matters for Mentats or Buffout, I only use Stim and Rads, in said super hard fights I might use Med-X or psycho, since they can tip battles with how big of a boost they give. Also, this only applies to 3, in NV Turbo is open game for me, and Hydra, Fixer, and Rebound are solid emergency options. In 4 I've done an all drugs melee only playthrough, and quite frankly, the way the drugs work in 4 makes them actually fun to use.
@@chrismaples9392 😠👉 sir I am a representative of DARE I am going to have to report you for doing drugz in the video games please come with me But on a serious note idk I've never really bothered with stuff that temporarily increases certain stats or whatever, even in like turn based stuff where that's supposed to be a BIG part of it...
@@LateNightGayms yeah, one of the points I was going for is that the Stat based used ones are very situational. The direct modifiers are the ones that have actual combat value, at least in 3/NV Turbo and Hydra from NV are both pretty much combat stims, one acts as bullet time, and the other is a Doctor's Bag in drug form.
@@chrismaples9392 yeaahh I just usually always forget about the chems as anything except either dead weight or at the very least a source of income... Idk, I know they can be useful but I usually have so much stuff clogging up the 'aid' category I just mentally filter anything not health related out lol
Why do you keep giving butch the power cells, they're for the alien blaster you leave at home all the time, which is funny since it's literally the most op non modded fallout 3/NV weapon.
@@chrismaples9392 I kinda figured that the ais were programmed to use the best ammo they had in the conversion to new Vegas, but admittedly that's just an assumption lol
You finally got rid of whatever was preventing you from waiting on command, rather than the Survival style. Also, it's not just your perks that are making you OP on there own, you have to remember, Fallout 3 and it's enemies have a level cap of 30, your almost double that..
Yes I did! Turns out it was just an option added to the main menu that I just uh... Missed 😅 And I suppose that's a fair enough reason to be OP... Even if I may have gotten there at a bit of an expedited rate lol
Literally the only change between siding with Werner over Ashur is that all the asshole raider types are dead. That and the Pitt is almost guaranteed to collapse as a settlement eventually.
I definitely understand that perspective, Like I said Werner sucks incredibly awfully BUT ultimately Ashur pisses me off more with his overly pretentious "Yes I'm a slave keeper buuuuut don't caaaaalll me a slave master they're wooooorkers teheeheee" shit. Like I mentioned in the last comment I made just now, ultimately the Pitt will be given a proper second chance away from Werner AND Ashur (at least in this playthrough) - leaving it a far better fate than leaving Ashur in charge would bring. admittedly that mod isn't canon so what actually happens wouldn't be that nice, BUT I did play thru The Pitt with the knowledge I can improve the worker's lives later on by siding with Werner in this 'timeline' or whatever.
Omfg you actually sided with Werner? As it's explained, he was literally a slaving bastard alongside Ashur, he isn't even planning to help the goddamn slaves.
Oh he certainly sucks HARD but idk at the very least he's not actively keeping them enslaved.. Besides, I've got a quest mod for after broken steel that lets me fully take over, kill Werner, and properly 'save' the pitt so to speak
For the Skyrim RP, so long as you don't go crazy with the mods you should be able to pull it off quite well, the issue with fallout 3 is it's story doesn't allow for much of a RP perspective since it goes almost exactly the same either way. The only real change is if the Aqua Pura in Broken steel is FEV'd or not.
Lol of course one of the few episodes I had play through my headphones while I was asleep was one that actually had another commenter. Also, goddamn the mic breaking on the Sister dialogue....
Whoever made the waiting mod needs their own reality check, I've once stood in roughly the same spot on the side of the road with nothing to do for 3 hours to zave a parking spot for my dad.
Admittedly I can't imagine doing that personally because I'm a fidgety easily-bored type of guy, but it doesn't make the "no waiting unless you're in 'x' specific situation!" Less annoying for gameplay purposes lol
@@LateNightGayms I had my phone playing music, but at the time I didn't have network so I couldn't do anything else, as at the time I had no offline apps.
@@LateNightGayms considering I went out at 3:00 to grab a spot because he gets off at 3:30 and he didn't get home till after 6 I was honestly kinda pissed at the time.
Lol, i just remembered a short that compared Liam Neeson here as your dad to the dad from Taken. And the movie released a little under a month before fallout 3 came out xD
There is a chance the Confirmed Bachelor option with your dad is actually base game, since that perk was supposed to be in 3 but it didn't get coded in fully before the game was released. Especially since the voice over seems natural.
I'm about ~80% sure it's actually from the mod I have that changes a bunch of fallout 3's player dialogue + adds new ones, but now I'm second guessing myself again lol
This may or may not have happened in this video, but I've noticed over the last 5-6 episodes, you don't pick up any non-ammuniton based crafting junk, so your never gonna be able to make the Schematic weapons. Why? (P.S. I'm asking now, because i watched he last 5-6 episodes on my SmartTV and couldn't comment through it)
I genuinely always forget about the schematic weapons lmao (Trust me, come episode 70 I find a quest that involves them and feel really stupid for not collecting anything LMAO)
I want a “fallout 4” remaster of 3 and New Vegas, i know there’s mods on nexus where i can download a whole new Vegas map with the fallout 4 engine, but i want like a goty disc release of these games made by bethesda not a mod community.
That would be really awesome! Unfortunately I have no idea if that will ever happen :/ I know there's been rumors circulating of SOME kind of remaster/remake of these games coming but who knows if theyre founded on anything real, or even if the remakes are even properly on the newer fallout 4 or starfield engine and not just prettied up graphics version of this older one
@@LateNightGayms yeah, if you have anniversary I'd definitely finish oblivion first, since quite a few of the CC stuff adds items that existed in Oblivion first. Honestly if it weren't for the fact it'd probably take like a year I'd say do Morrowind first since there is some cross there as well.
@@chrismaples9392 honestly a part of me was kinda hoping that Skywind would be finished by the time my oblivion playthrough was done so I could play thru Morrowind like that... Though I also knew how unlikely that would be lol. I'll definitely get to Morrowind eventually though!
@@chrismaples9392 yeah! it's not gonna be out for a while still, but it's called Skywind like I mentioned. As far as I know it's still at least a couple years away. Morroblivion is out though - but last I checked it was kinda buggy? I dunno, I'd probably be better served just modding Morrowind itself until Skywind finishes
Not that I can recall? It looks like there's a version on the nexus that's stripped down a bit that works for ttw, but the BULK of this list is using the Begin Again Wabbajack list, which I haven't even properly looked at every mod it includes - so if MMM is on there, that's something the makers of that list got figured out not me lol. I'll check to see if it's on there when I get home though...
There was a glitch that can occur after you kill Burke that can leave the outside door of the suite unlocked so you can use it for free. Doesn't always happen, but i had it work in 3/5 of my playthroughs.
@@LateNightGayms Cause unless you have the really strong expensive ass pew pew, your boosted fist kills them faster and easier, honestly the only thing better is the dartgun because I swear it was made to hard counter deathclaws. (Stupid autocorrect, the hell is Death class??)
While i don't agree on your point about the morality and whether Harold should actually die or not. I do agree not killing him and using the Liminent is the best choice for all.
You still left so much loot at the bunker x-x Unrelated aside, why don't you pick up the cigarettes? They're easily the most cost effective junk, sales wise.
Yeaahh there's, what is it- destroy the heart, apply father bitch's thing, apply mother Laurel's thing, or burn Harold with a flamethrower right? Fun times
Where is your Gamer greed, you have Long Haul, if you have a single location with mass loot, take everything and drop what you don't need back at home...
Spoiler alert: Spoiler spoiler spoiler ...but no I find my stuff again teehee. Tho admittedly I don't use much of that stuff any more later on in the playthrough
