Steve always loved Nancy, eventhough he never admitted it to others and only let nancy know what he really feels, you can tell that he always was heartbroken deep down. the scenes at 1:11 and 2:28 show it as well. You did a very good job on this!
The "what you did for her" and then their hug??? I'm weak and emotional. She really was his trigger. Every time a man mentioned her name, hell even when Dany mentioned her name, he did what he had to to protect her.
There’s a lot to both their characters. I don’t think it was really fair of Nancy to put Barb’s death on Steve as well & Steve was nowhere near as bad as Tommy and Carol. I’m really hoping they don’t get back together in the end. I like Steve having a purpose outside of a romantic relationship.
Did a rewatch recently and never realized how many times they chose to pair up before season 6. Almost every time there’s a problem Bonnie calls Damon. She’s the one that constantly keeps him in the loop and he chooses to work with her every time

if only Nancy saw him clean the writing on the cinema, she’d realise that he really did love her. The reason he wrote the words on the cinema was because he was hurt, heartbroken about what she said about everything on Halloween night. Steve deserves much better; best character development I’ve seen in an other show.

I think Damon and Bonnie’s relationship was pure because he loved only her, whereas both Stefan and Damon was attracted by Elena BECAUSE they both loved Katherine! In my opinion Elena was just who they wish Katherine was
Yes. I totally believe that Damon transferred all his feelings for Katherine to Elena, after he found out that Katherine played him. Stefan was compelled and tricked into taking Katherine's blood. He despised her after that. But Damon...he was in his feelings that the Katherine look alike wanted his brother and made Elena his obsession until he had her. They had sexual chemistry that they often mistook for love. But when you look at how Bamon looked at one another...there was always this unspoken longing in their eyes. Like an ache that we could all feel. It was torture because it was clear as day and they just wouldn't cross that line because of their blind loyalty to a girl who didn't deserve it. I will go down with this ship... die on the mountain that these two should have been endgame. Bonenzo was amazing and beautiful because he treated her like his Goddess. And we all know that he was the substitute for what Damon was supposed to be for her. We also know why that never happened. But....they were the best (non) couple on the show.
They were together in the books and they should have been together on tv but racist delena and julie plec stans dudnt want that to happen. And there are interviews before petty ppl said Oh ian wanted to be with kat character when nina and him broke up which is a fuckin lie. There are fucking interviews of most of the men cast including Ian and the man that played Klaus wanted bonnie as their love interest from the beginning .
