I do Monster Hunter speedruns and similar challenges in other games. The speedruns I do would be considered to be "freestyle" runs, meaning that I do not follow any specific ruleset. ※ Currently not doing Monster Hunter speedruns, will resume upon the release of MHWilds.
as fun as this game is it gets so ridiculously easy :( the story makes 0 sense. and the quest are 'go here do this' for no reason. played/beat all3. have played the same game multiple times. Dark Arisen is the best. look forward to the expansion... hope its not microtransactions and worth it.
stagger @ 1:24 - while you didn't take damage this would count as hit under the no hit rules of most games. still impressive too see. DD2 has some wonky phsysics at times and working around these so well is nice too see.
I have heard that normal chimeras are weak to both ice and fire, and gorechimeras are weak to ice and holy, but I'm not entirely sure. I just use ice on them.
I think hindsight sweep does very slightly more damage if timed well, but it's almost the same as vengeful slash. I use hindsight sweep mainly because it can dodge some attacks that vengeful slash cannot consistently block.

you can make it easier. use warfearer and grab the sleeping arrow from magik archer, put her to sleep and indomitable slash her head. cuts it in one hit XD hahahahahha.
Batthali on weapon- and is vermundian on the rest personal preference? I’m working my way to finishing my enhancements so I can solo+pawn boss farm, too. Went with dwarven on shield to see if it’s worth having the KD power for the shield hits on riotous and shield pummel. I’m really convinced from this vid with hindsight and full moon slash. I’m thinking of dropping skewer cuz some large bosses move too much to even get it off
Question, is there a proper way to know what is weak to what in this game? I recently found out that pulling the cyclops leg when it stumbles will amek it kinda fall. And subsequently, if it falls in it´s fours, you can pull one arm open to full down him. Is there anything like that for ogres?
I think pawns can sometimes mention what elemental weakness monsters have. I do not know about anything similar to pulling the cyclops that makes ogres fall over, to me it just seems like they fall based on damage dealt. Hitting the head seems to make ogres fall over faster though.
Pulling on it's arm while the ogre is on it's arm and back is a way of knocking it down But while it's in the off balance state, just try blunt damage and you should be able to knock it down
Bruh thank you for posting this. People are clowning on fighter in particular. Just like the first DD, every vocation can be powerful if built and played well. Im rocking all different skills than you. But still got a drake kill in 3 mins. Definitely a sloppy kill too. No where near as clean as this. I'll try to get footage of a fast kill tonight.
Since you were the one to inspire me, I've returned to say I now have a 30 second drake kill. Along with build videos on what/why I use what I do. Hoping to spread awareness of what fighter is capable of.
My favorite is fighter, I really like the counter moves and faster attacks compared to some other vocations. I'm probably not going to use warfarer, I don't really like the lower number of skill slots and how it can't use maister skills.
Very clean display. Just got to the volcano and tried all the other vocations...I keep coming back to Archer and Fighter, switching back thanks to this video man. Keep up the gameplay!
im so glad they made the wait command to make the pawns go afk. I really dont like the idea of throwing a very helpful companion to a tentacle hell lmao.
I know, that is why I call it "solo with pawn buffs". my pawn does a negligible amount of damage due to being entirely support focused, and I don't think they ever get the monster's attention.
Thanks! I do plan to make some videos with thief, but I haven't decided exactly what yet. I'm not going to use those maister skills, in my opinion they are not very fun to use.
Yes I do have full upgrades on all of my equipment, including dragonforging. My pawn doesn't have full upgrades though. I think combat in new game+ is still fun, but it is somewhat easy. note that I use a mod to double the health of the monster in this video.
