If you let the bread sit longer & get good & soaked with the egg/milk mixture, you'll get puffier, flavor-infused french toast. You have to cook them on low to get the egg set. But it also gives you a nice french toast. And you dont waste the egg mix. I love your recipe! I never thought of putting sugar in the egg mix. It must make a nice sweetened bread flavor. Im going to try that topped with strawberry sauce! Thank you for posting!~
