I was surprised how well the Chatbot works. If you are specific enough, you get some real legitimate suggestions. Looking forward to seeing the benefits.
Hi, My battery light came on and the car just stalled. wont start. mechanic says no codes. sprayed diesel in intake car starts and runs until spray stops. Battery light still on. fuel tank pump sounds like it is working. Any solutions
Good find, I always check the condition of all hosing on older cars, it can cause miss fires and that can divert repairers to apparent electrical faults. Cheers Jeff
Had exactly that problem with my 2013 diesel SZ. It used to surge intermittently at motorway speeds and then one day it died on the motorway at 100km/h, very exciting, the dash indicated it still had 50 km to empty. When the car was new I got down to 5 km to empty while on a country trip so I knew it shouldn’t stop with 50km of fuel left. The breakdown truck arrived and I said it seemed like it ran out of fuel so he through 5 litres in it, we primed it as per the operation manual and away we went!! Took it to the Mechanic who did a scan and discovered a low pressure error code and replaced the tank lift pump. Maybe asking clients about surging at lower fuel tank levels may be a vital clue.
I get you point on faulty parts but your using worldpac and could have easily gotten a oem valve, which working on any german brand is pretty much parts buying 101. Either you or your customer was trying to be cheap and you paid the price.
Hope you are well. Your channel videos are excellent. You already have a 11.1K subscriber which is a huge number. but unfortunately, your videos are not reaching the right people who really find in search about your content niche. They do not reach your videos in search results when they search for them. That's why your video's views and reach are very low. So I have some plans for your channel. Can I share?
Isn’t it crazy, I was at a trade event tonight (in Ireland) I was speaking to a Bosch representative and spoke about how Scanner Danner got us hooked on Snap on & wondered why Bosch didn’t ever try similar 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ I was probably only plugging my own channel, seeing if I could get something for free 😬😬😬 Then I arrive home to a KTS review, well done guys. It does look good with ye promoting it 👍👍
Excellent info and explanation of the problem I have with my Captiva. Two mechanics have not been able to find and solve the problem. Has taken a while to locate the RIGHT info to fix the car. Hopefully it will be solved by doing what you've explained. I'd rather not have to remove and dismantle the injectors to free them up, but will do if required.
I have the same model prado with what i suspect to be this exact problem. What would be a fair price to expect to pay for this the get diagnosed and replaced? Cheers
Good info Jeff. We're gonna see a lot of more repairs like this in the not too distant future. Would have liked to make it there for the repair. Maybe next time!
