I like the PX4 Storm in the SA/DA semiautomatic category. I tried a CZ P-01 and while it’s good, it ALWAYS failed to feed and extract every magazine change. I’m more of a striker fired guy though.
I'm a fan of Beretta , but resently CZ 75 SP-01 safety version caught My attention, i REALY like it , did alot of research on it, There's a lot of after market support for the line of CZ's, that was important , Cajun gun works is the best way to modify the internal springs tensions . A lot of research shows an 11.5 lb. Main hammer will lighten the double action pull to 7.8 lbs and recoil spring the same 11.5 to 12 lbs. These two things will smoothen the operation, ALSO gotta change out the firing pin roll-pin to a solid pin and safety plunger spring , theses are minimal changes that offer a lighter feeling trigger . Cajun gun works also offers a full kit but some of the other springs are very tricky to change out. Very nice collection 😃❤ I'd like to get the CZ 75 P-01 compact also G-19 size . Thanks for showing your collection❤
Taurus bought Rossi, not sure when but that's the story. I have the M88 snub and it's a fun little pocket rocket 😎👍 thinking about getting the 68 to go with it.
Love it. Nice collection. Sent my P07 to get milled about 3 weeks prior to the release of the Nocturne. Might trade my P09 for the full size nocturne, though
6k rounds in my SP01. Fully canonized, 2.5 lb SAO trigger. No recoil, shoots like a race gun. Out the door with tax I paid $850, you can find them for 699 some places
Every time I hear someone talk about their CZ, it makes it easier to justify buying all of them lol. I haven’t held the SP01 in person before but I like the idea of a full steel gun. All the cajun upgrades sound sweet too
Waiting on my LTT PX4 Concealed Compact G version, shipped today from AZ. It will become my EDC. My Sig P226 lives on the nightstand. Both will go to the range.
Great CZ collection I enjoy them very much as well! Gotta pick up the new P 09 C Nocturne. I want to try the Beretta PX4 storm that rotating barrel system seems amazing be well!
Saludos cordiales y buenos tiros.
I found my perfect HK pistol for concealed carry. Perfect size and ergonomic. A HK P2000 V2 (LEM) 9mm. I'm never ever getting rid of it. Unless your getting another HK pistol, I say keep it.
@@22Enfield if you have seen 1037 vids with All the same points why did you even watch this one? I mean if they are all the same...Thanks for the comment ! I appreciate you!!
I bought one, good for the range. Durable steel, cold forged rotating barrel, Beretta product, no complains so far. Note that this gun likes 124 grain, feed with agressive ammunition.
The lack of external slide lock was just to keep it slim and reduce any potential snag points. If you want to add one you can get the APX Carry grip module and slide lock. The Nano is still around, Beretta just changed the name to APX Carry/APX Carry A1. The mags are also interchangeable.
The CZ P-01 Omega is great! The CGW trigger kit is a BIG upgrade! CZ P 01 Ω & CZC A01 C ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OjoSbh1SfPY.html
I love the PX4 and own the carry 2. I think Beretta did a poor job advertising it in America. I think it is far more popular outside the US. I agree the Langdon has created the current following. I don’t know if the different rotating barrel scared people off.
I used to have the P07 in OD Green. Sold that gun because I ended up hating the color of all things yet it hurt me to part ways with it. After a year or so I'm thinking of purchasing the black one. I just bought the Px4 Compact. Hopefully it lives up to the fame.
Nice video you got here :) I have bought second hand P-09 recently and I want to ask, if barrel crown is a little bit shine after cleaning or not? Something like gloss grey or so. Mine isn't black as other parts of barrel so if I should worried about rust etc. (I really don't think so, feeding ramp is mirror like as well chamber but I just want to be sure). There were tons of hard carbon in barrel and after cleaning with solvents, brass brush etc. I've used polishing paste for last remnants. I can't imagine how I could damage the nitriding with a fine paste on a soft cloth brush so anticorrosion durability should be still same.
If you acquired it Dirty then the last owner maybe didn't clean it, I would say give it a cleaning and see if and How it runs and go from there and if you don't see rust then don't worry about it
P01 for sure. I have both and while I like the Beretta, it's a thicc girl. I bought it on a whim and never had any plans to do anything with it other than keeping it as a range toy. They are neat guns but it's not something I'd be interested in carrying.
Shot both the p01 few weeks ago and my px4 storm compact side by side and the difference is pretty noticeable with recoil impulse..... The px4 storm compact is a way flatter shooter by far as both being stock in my hands, it honestly shoots just as flat as my p07 with a comp on it lol Very underrated platform and a definite performer... my wife loves the compact as the slide is like butter to rack and soft shooting.... As far as px4 storm FS vs Compact i didnt know any difference to be honest so I havent seen a reason to get a full size... I seriously hope Beretta continues the px4 storm in the line up....
Thank you! I purchased a PCR in April of this year. I hear and read about them. My local indoor range, Vandalia Armory, had several. As soon as he handed me the gun, it fit like a glove! I have put 300-400 rds thru it very nice, well made , accurate pistol. I have plam swell LOK grips for mine and I replaced the sights, Tru Glo TFX Pro Trillium sights, otherwise keeping it pretty much as it is, i am Sig gal, edc 938, i made an exception for this CZ model.
Love my P-01, closely followed by my P07! Both great carry options, but I do like to have a rail for light mount if I choose. Put MCarbo spring kits in both, largely to reduce DA pull weight. Agreed, I also find comfort in carrying a hammer fired handgun when holstering. Enjoy your content!
The one thing that really sticks a bee in my bonnet when it comes to the CZ75 series, is the damned phillips head grip screws. I've passed over gun after gun because of that simple screw. I never would have gone down the CZ rabbit hole had I not saw my PCR in the case. It had a set of blue dimpled Lok grips with hex screws and that was what made me take notice. I plunked down the cash for it, and it's multiplied into a bunch of guns.
Right... The CZ USA website says the 75D compact PCR IS aluminum frame the 75 compact is a steel frame,the75D compact PCR is deckocker and the 75 compact is a manual safety, thanks for the comment
I've had old surplus CZ on the past. The 27, 52, and 70 to be exact. The 75 compact PCR was my first more modern CZ and while I did like it, it was kind of a meh gun that took me a while to warm up to. Since then I have added a couple P09s, 75B, and SP01 competition. It took me a while, but I got there.
stewb520 Good Review. I speak highly about my PX4 Storm Compact just as you do about your Full Size. The only time I had a failure was when I was shooting hollow points. I solved the problem by getting Nosler Performance Defense Tipped Bonded 9mm Ammo. I have shot the Compact and the Full Size at the range and the Full Size is more accurate, but both are extremely reiable and accurate. I have an old PX4 Storm Compact for the range and I bought a new PX4 Storm Compact for EDC. I had a gunsmith Cerekote some of the steel parts (not the slide) to make my EDC look like a gentlemen's gun. I am sure people at the range have said to you that the PX4 is ugly, fat and heavy. GOOD REVIEW,...thank you 👍🏾
