You guessed it - my obsession is vibrant, healthy skin. Less makeup, more effective skin care.
I’m a 52-year-old American living in Dublin, Ireland and love discovering ways to make me look as young as I feel. I’ve had no invasive procedures (so far) but like to experiment with devices, methods, products - anything that improves my skin, hair, nails and body.
I’m sorry if I missed this is one of your videos since I am watching them on silent (at work 😜) but do you prefer the Dazzle Dry system or Green Flash system from Manucurist? I kept going back and forth but ultimately decided on Dazzle Dry. It shipped today so I hope I made the right decision!
@@SkinObsessedMary yay! Awesome! I ordered the color Lit for my fingernails, plus White Lightening and Prima Ballerina to do a French on my toes, so I’m very excited!
Yes I agree I have cut down on products and only now use spf everyday and tretinoin at night with aquaphor if it's getting dry and you know what my skin is fabulous, and horror if horrors I use dove soap to wash my face!!!!!!! Take that you beauty estheticians, it's been one year now and I won't go back to all those products total waste of money
All i got she wants you yo use her code and link to place an order for a product she does not see results and or a difference but she knows it helps her………
True, that it's not something I can personally measure, but the research did and that's enough for me. Obviously, the code is only for those who have an interested in buying it 👍
So glad I watched this episode. I tried WTF and it didn't look anything like the second jar of foundation. It was oily and provided no coverage. It actually emphasized every flaw and I have good skin. The gold eyeshadow looks amazing on you.
Melanie just looks SUPERB on you! Thank you as I've been looking at RMS for a miniute and thanks to you, I'm willing to take the plunge! Yes, it's costly but my concens, fine lines, are addressed in your video. I don't expect fine skincare to be cheap. For me, I stopped wearing face a couple of years ago but I'm ready to start again with all new product. Have you heard of Merritt Cosmetics? They are advertised on RU-vid and they are a minimalist type of beauty/skincare that I have also been checking out. It would be amazing if you covered them as well. I'm anxious for your opinion before I drop $300 on skincare. Which is better? RMS or Merritt?
Thank you! It's a beautiful line of products and I LOVE them. Funny you mention Merit....it's on my list! I'll probably do a full face video on it soon too. I've been hearing great things about the brand.
Thank you so much. I want to hear about the supplements, is it safe to ingest and would like to know if it hydrates your hair and nails as well. The serum has never worked for me and my skin is getting drier due to medications I have to take.
Yes, absolutely. I'm exactly the same....I don't like the topical HA but this has been shown to have huge benefits, even aside from skin and nail (which is why I started in the first place)!
Mary, the Seint makeup looks amazing on you. I love it. I follow The Contoured Chemist Sara. She does all things Seint makeup and amazing skincare. I honestly didn’t think Seint makeup was geared for dry, dehydrated skin more mature ladies. Now you’ve got me even more curious. Do you think you will be wearing all the time? It looks amazing. Beautiful. Thank you both for this great Seint Tutorial. Is it expensive to get the complete palette? Mary, I agree, it looks a bit light on you. Bur Michelle knows best. Do they have a mascara?
Thank you! And thanks for watching the whole thing, if you made it to the end....it's definitely the longest video I've done but if just flew by! I'm obsessed. This is THE makeup I'm reaching for now and I'm only kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Each little colour is about $15-18 and I think you can start small, with 1 foundation (that's really I'll I'm using, though I need a darker shade now), blush and demi colours (I'm using 2 of the 3 I have). The palette is about $25 and the brushes are pricey, but worth every penny. Don't need too many I'd say. It's DEFINITELY worth looking into!
Mary, I’m sorry but the bright light behind you isreaaly strong glaring your left side of you face out. 😅😊 yay you turned the light off. So much better. Thank you. I’m not being unkind at all, just wanted you to know how strong it was. You should check out “ The Contoured Chemist”. She’s a chemist who dives deep into skincare as well as Seint Makeup.
I'm really sorry about the light. It was actually the sun coming through a skylight and Gary wasn't here when I recorded it (he would have stopped that immediately!). Eventually the sun just moved (thank goodness!).
Great video..although I've never heard of this brand in the states. I have a different question, the RMS foundation that you applied and liked. Would you recommend this to someone with dry skin?...and is the coverage good. I tried a bit in a store, it wasn't my shade, I'm actually 000, but it almost felt like skin care. Is it up there on your list of foundations?
Looks wonderful and natural! Michelle Spieler is awesome! Learned so much about Seint and Demi from her videos....and Hot Chocolate is my favorite eye shadow! day and night :) !
I can tell the difference in your face - it is minimal, but I can see it. I was waiting for my mini myolift and had been watching different vids on the process. The last vid I watched was Penn Smith Skincare, she used the gloves, but it was the same premise, I liked her vid, thought it was the simplest for me. After I got my myolift, I went back to her vid. I am 75 years old, and after my first clumsy attempt (I am sure I will get better) I could tell a definite difference! I kid you not - 75-yrs-old, saggy neck, wrinkles, and no firmness at all - and I could tell a difference that first time! Second day it was even better! Now, saying that, I have a long way to go and I know I am not going to look like a thirty/forty/fifty-yr-old, but I would love to look better - not younger...a sixty yr old would be nice! I am doing it every day 😅and my average stroke for each one is twenty strokes. I love this machine!
That is FANTASTIC! I did pick up the gloves long after I did this video and I found them much easier to use. I'm thrilled to hear it's working for you 😊
This is not at all related to this awesome video, my Zara blouse just came in and it is so beautiful and well made. My husband is equally wowed! Thank you.
You're so naturally beautiful. Thank you for the video. I just found RMS myself. I got the concealer and yes I agree. I love it. It's the only one that works. I do 11.5. Again, thank you.
