Dear Jonas, great to get some impressions of your beautiful home country and even hear you talking Swedish with your brother about art. Nature and art can make you happy indeed. I LOVE seeing all the little islands and seeing the beautiful locations you went to. WOW. Best fika spots indeed. What a dreamy area you guys went to. I love the sailboats, the music for this, the unique and beautiful homes and their colors. You guys go to some very dreamy places. Yey for Bright Island showing up in this video. Jonas, you don't seem like a beginner at all. My word. What talent! What a lovely workhorse too. This little boat you went on has such gorgeous wood. Oh man. I agree that beauty is everywhere. There has been so much beauty around me lately. I have been enjoying going to the lake a few times a week and just being in the water. What an inspiring video! I am not an artist by any means, but I love to see you paint. It’s very relaxing. The moment I found beauty was when my dreadfully overgrown yard suddenly became beautiful to me. Instead of stressing out that it wasn’t mowed I tried to appreciate the long grasses blowing in the breezes. Then it stopped bothering me! A lesson I feel I can apply to other areas of my life!

This was a wonderful creative journey you have shared. 💕 The parts of Sweden you have shown are so beautiful. I think nature is truly inspirational no matter where you are. I’ve mostly been learning to paint with acrylics lately, but I would love to do some watercolor so I can bring it with me and really be in nature as I paint. Thanks for the inspiration! Aaaahhh, plein air. There's nothing like it. Years later, open up your sketchbook to a drawing, and the sights, sounds, and smells return to you. Perhaps better than any photo could. Thanks so much for this video. It was truly inspirational❤

I've been binging on your videos while at work (your voices and the atmospheric music and sounds are perfect to help remain calm in a stressful environment). But I only just now realized that I hadn't even subscribed yet!🤦♀ Remedied that right away and decided to finally comment. Your videos are so peaceful and I love how you refer to your area as your "Stars Hollow". We thought we had found our Stars Hollow 10 years ago. Sadly, "progress" and over development has changed all that and its lost it's small town charm. But watching your video is a reminder that although the area might change, we can continue to bring that Stars Hollow feel into your own little home. We just need this 100° heat to go away so we can enjoy the outside again! 😂 And to answer the creative question: creative inspiration hits me after watching one of your videos. It's just...hard... to start executing that inspiration sometimes. Thank you for all the wonderful videos you two have made. It's a breath of fresh air to watch.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. My mother's parents were born in Sweden, but I never got to know that 1/2 of my family, because she was not raised by them. My father's parents were born in Italy and immigrated to America. He was one of ten children; and I had a wonderful childhood with many aunts, uncles and cousins. But I have always thought of and wondered about Sweden. Your video helped to have a glance into what a beautiful place it is! ❤❤❤

What a lovely video. Jonas your painting is beautiful. We do need to train ourselves to slow down and notice little things that we miss. I love to stop and look around when out in nature; even walking you can miss something. Recently saw wild Iris flowers. The villages you visitied are really beautiful. Quite a bit North from Kalmar. Maybe on one of our visits we can make a coastal trip North.

I love the idea that you should look closely at things and notice the beauty in the small details. It has helped me to find joy in quiet moments, in my own garden. Watching birds, seeing flowers bloom, and observing the miracles of nature (tomatoes I grew from seed!) has enriched my life this summer. Thanks for sharing your journey to Sweden 😊

Hello Lindsay and Jonas ! Thank you for this charming and romantic dreamy trip in beautiful Sweden...Nature is never the same and my husband and I have remarked that, now that we live at 8 kmfrom the sea with the low clouds that change everyday with the clear weather or grey weather...A few days ago 3 of them were forming 3 big low balls behind each other’s (like an u.f.o😅) on the sea and we have to do quick to take a photo, then it disappeared...Oh yes it is a real pleasure to look to nature and it is very inspiring just looking at the flower s colors that always match together. ❤❤❤

Hello again from the UK ☺. Before my beloved passed last December we got to talk of many things. We were both artists (Terry was left handed just like you Jonas). He said that I must continue to create, for if you are creative and you don't create, your soul will die. I'm still very up and down but this vlog inspired me to start and look around me again. It was beautiful, the lapping of the water, the nature and the music. And most of all seeing how much you both cherish each other made me cry 😢. Take care of eachn other 💑. Veronica! We are so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain. We must appreciate every moment with our loved ones always. Hope you can find inspiration again to look at things around you with different eyes and create, and may it have a healing effect on you.
