Welcome to my channel. The content you will find here is purely for entertainment. I am a printer by trade but my passion is mechanics and enjoying the great outdoors. I also enjoy traveling as often as possible and have taken up videography and photography to go along with that. Most of my videos will be related to either mechanical how-to or camping and travel. If you enjoy that type of stuff I hope you will stick around and watch a few videos. Thanks
There are no aliens for if there were, THAT would be in direct contradiction to what the bible teaches. The bible does not mention aliens. And, we would have clue what language they'd speak. Once language is understood, I would ask "who created you? What or who do you worship? Do you have a God?
Really nice. Thank you. I appreciate a do it yourself video that shows someone using tools I actually have. The videos with pneumatic tools and lifts drive me crazy because most people wont do that at home. Thank you sir.
It's actually mounted below the chine and not on it. I used the exact same mounting holes as the factory installed transducer and it has been working great.
@@DustinFox. Sorry, but I didn’t make note of the actual size. I usually keep a couple of different nut and bolt variety packs around the garage and just used something from them.
Great video. Thanks. I am wondering if the original transducer cable had a connector somewhere in the middle that was disconnected so that you could attach/tape it to the new cable and pull through the plastic side cowling or if you had to cut the old cable so it would pull through? Also, could you run the power cable with fuse directly to your starter battery versus getting power from the fuse panel or is the power cable not long enough for that option
The original transducer cable was a continuous cable and did not have a break in it. I actually taped the new cable end to the side of the old cable when I pulled it through. Then I untapped it and pulled the old cable out. I honestly don't recall exactly how long the power wires were from the factory. I'm sure you could splice more wire on if you needed it to run back to the battery.
@@STEVEHADDOCK Thanks for the clarification. I understand what you did. Hopefully I will be able to pull the new cable through without too much difficulty when I attempt the installation.
Another awsome video...I wanna add this to my 175tf....what is cord that runs from motor to lowrance do?? The puck is for spot lock I believe so what's needed with lowrance
The motor has a built in sonar for the Lowrance fish finder. You can choose different types of built in sonar with the MinnKota depending on your type of fish finder you have if you have one at the front.
Great Video!!! It took me a couple hours and all better now. I look forward to NOT having the slop in the steering. Thank you for posting this video because I would have not have had such confidence going in without it.
Got the speakers and new hole saw to do this, wanted to make sure the channel on the passenger side is able to have the wire run up to the rod box, across the middle storage and into the rod box on driver side and then into the steering console.. if not can you please explain the routing you used for passenger side wire? Thanks for being the tester, makes me nervous drilling these big holes...
That’s where they run. I pushed a hole through the foam up towards the front and to the gunnel. Then I went down and through both rod lockers and the cooler. I did pop the top off the cooler, just a few screws. I’ll see if I can do a quick diagram this weekend sometime and post it.
@@STEVEHADDOCK Cool, thanks for the reply. I am an electrical contractor so I am sure I can get the wire through with my glow rod (fiberglass wire fishing tool), just wanted to make sure I am following the same route, like to plan it before I drill holes lol. Still trying to fully talk myself into drilling the 5" holes in the boat....
I got the holes in, no problem on the passenger side. One last question, when you cut your hole on the driver side through that removable panel, did you have to also cut a hole in the sidewall behind it? Or where your speakers narrow enough to fit without doing that?
Beautiful cardinal -- I'm sure its bright-red mate is somewhere close by. I have two or three pairs of them that frequent my backyard feeders. They make a racket but they're very sweet.
Just the lighting from inside the green leaves gives a blue appearance to her head and neck area. She's definitely a Cardinal. She has a nest in the area and I have several other videos of her on my channel. The beak of the Cardinal is distinctively different than that of a Bluejay. Thanks for the comment and thanks for checking out the video.
It's a female cardinal -- the orange-ish red of the beak and tufted head are the giveaways Not as easy to identify as the bright red male of the species, but they still stand out with the colorful beak.
I just spoke with Minnkota here in the U.S. and they are going to send me a link that I can post here and they said it should give you a place where you can type in your local post code and it will give you the closest place for you to buy parts. You could also possibly find a lot of the parts on Amazon if you can order from there.
