Rick, thanks so much for your quick response to my comment and for performing "If Heartache Is The Fashion." This was the best validating song for anyone in the depths of despair over a lost relationship. So many poor hurt souls can identify with it and receive validation with the message that "they are not alone." Rick, great delivery on this touching Reeve's song. My first wife who passed away 15 years ago was an avid Jim Reeves fan and Reeves was a national hero in her country, Sri Lanka. This song is so significant because it was one of his last recordings before his tragic death in 1964. Keep recording them, Rick. Could you perform another of Jim's songs such as "If Heartache Is The Fashion?"

@@karaokekid66 I sure did. Wasn't familiar with those songs but still very good. I just got into Country 4 years ago at 61. I keep finding nuggets all over youtube. I love classic sounding Country as well as the time tested ones. One thing I have found is there are a lot of really Great singers who in the US aren't/weren't really recognised for their talent at the highest level. Narvel Felts, Kenny Dale, Rhonda Vincent and a string of others. The first 2 came down under to New Zealand. I didn't know of Narvel back then. Mate you would in my opinion be in their league easily.

Don't usually comment on people singing Elvis songs......(seems they are trying too hard. Just doing a character of him ,and missing the true essence of Elvis`s voice).... In my opinion you nailed it, as if it was just you singing in your natural voice.......Well done. Anymore like that?
