Just got three pocket 18 months weekly planners two of them were made it Vietnam and the third was made in China! There is a noticeable difference in the texture of the two papers. Thanks for this!
I just got from Walmart and I found a great Moleskine dupe from Pen+Gear... same dimensions, pocket and 78gsm dotted paper! for $10 ... so I brought one home and slapped everything on the test pages LOL and I was pleasantly surprised that nothing went through! except my Twsbi Broad nib had some ghosting... I love it... going back to get a couple more 😂 I love your videos!!! Thanks.
The tea is delicious but beware the impact of the honey, anyone who has used a continuous glucose monitor will know how horrifyingly high your blood sugar goes after even a teaspoon of honey or table sugar when not at the same time as a healthy meal.
I always go back to the Hobonichi weeks. My dates back to 2018 as well. But I skipped 2022 because I was enjoying my spiral MD notebook. Which I still love. But I am trying to have everything in one book and the weeks seems to fit everything I want. Especially since I don’t journal everyday. I use the blank pages in the back for journaling as I go. I’m starting to read again so I have been using The year at the glance page to track the books I have read. And usually the monthly pages for my apts and events. And then the weekly page for my to do list and menu planning. And the right side of the weekly pages I use for my reading notes for the book I’m reading. And so far it has been a successful year in the weeks. I think this will be the longest I have used the weeks in a year because I finally found a format that works for me. I used the Hon for 2024 for my financial book. But abandoning it mid year. lol I just have to give up the fact that I can’t do a physical notebook and I prefer digital means to do my finances. It’s just easier and less work and less computing for my brain lol So 2025 I am just using the Hobonichi weeks for planning and journaling. And everything else as far as notebooks and planners I have accumulated I will repurpose for sketching/art books.
I really like the weeks, A6 size and the Moleskine notebooks - and I like everything in a softcover. ( You're responsible for all my Moleskine notebooks that I just purchased on sale, thanks for the tip 😀). But the Hobonichi books have a great feeling when you turn the page or put watercolor on them. I write with a ballpoint or pencils most the time, so the Hobonichi paper doesn't bother me. I have a 2024 Avec I am using for the rest of this year and I haven't noticed any problem if I do use a fountain pen. Thanks for a great video !
Been a Midori fan for years, MD series, blank, love the cream paper, got the vinyl cover/case, light, flexible, a joy to look at , love the minimalism and no distractions. Great vid 🙏
I’ve bought a Hobonichi A5 notebook as I prefer the Weeks for EDC planning and scribbling notes, I’ll use the notebook for memory keeping. I’ve used the A6 Avec this year and have loved using it, so I’m thinking of maybe using it for 2025 for a photo a day.
Hi! I just subscribed to your channel some months ago. I would like to share my experience so far with Moleskine and a couple of ideas. If you have a WRMK Fuse, you might want to give a try to heat foil and use it to decorate the covers or pages. Looks cool with the wide tips. On the 18 month daily, Platinum 3776 Century with platinum ink (F nib) or Platinum Preppy don’t bleed through, but given the inconsistency of Moleskine paper… other ink/fountain pen combos have failed in my case, so it might be worth the try. Another idea could be to use the calendar just as an index, colour coding the ideas (painting the date that corresponds to book entries with a red marker, for example, so that you know that red dots mark pages related to books). Please forgive any grammar mistakes, as English is not my mother tongue. I hope this long comment is useful. I re date all the time! its soo easy I wonder why more dont do it... When I miss a 5 year entry, those are relegated to the following year outside the 5. With it being soo chunky already, the free spaces make great swatching spots in A5 and adds color. Doesnt faze me: "waste not want not" Wish Amazon sold reasonably older hobos as I loved their TR paper😊 The Hon is amazing, I do hope they release more options as its getting more popular Enjoy your videos! I Definitely prefer longer form content. When I watch YT it’s bc I’m wanting a long video of something Im really interested in and to watch/listen to it while I’m getting things done as well. Honestly, on RU-vid with any creator, I’ll pass by a video if it’s not long enough where I can have it on in the background bc I don’t want to keep starting and stopping my task to switch videos. So I definitely love these kinds of videos! Absolutely love your channel. Don’t change a thing!
I’m using the cat HON this year in the A6 size for my work planner. For 2025 I might switch to a MD Gradation Diary, and Stalogy 365 for my personal journal.
I recommend a sunscreen stick! I like the skin 1004 - centella one (50+ spf). There’s other popular ones like the beauty of Joseon one (I think it’s slimmer)! - Sun sticks are more for reapplication
7:50 its obvious there isnt sunday yet theres 2 times columns...some people want sunday on the left some people want it on the right they accomodated for both by leaving 2 times columns so you can use one as "sunday"
I really love the longer videos with talking and journaling, because they always inspire me to journal myself. And the way you narrate what you do and what you think about it is really inspiring and uplifting.
