I am a krishna lover not just devotee but kindly dont go against scientific evidences and researches you guys are just making fun of religion if you are refuting scientific discoveries. For being a krishna devotee you dont need to cut yourself from the reality. Reality may be very complex. On May 15th 1992, Nrsimha Caturdasi, a British devotee, Ananta Acarya, (Andrew Peter Collas Day, formerly of Jersey, Channel Islands), age 27 years, who had formerly been residing at Bhaktivedanta Manor UK, died in the Hare Krsna temple in Amsterdam due to the severe neglect of his so called Guru, Ananda Svarupa Dasa,(Carlo Alberto Dorigatti)former Maharaja. (I will refer to him as ASD in the following). @carloanandaswarup Despite warnings from a highly experienced devotee nurse about the danger Ananta was in, ASD commented, 'If he dies, be it on my head' and laughed. Alongside ASD, no other devotee living in the temple at that time, took these warnings seriously or saw that Ananta got the care he needed, resulting in Ananta passing away. After Ananta's death, ASD ran off to India where he resided with an affluent Delhi family who were also his disciples. During his time there, he began a relationship with their young daughter, somehow persuading her to run away with him. You can only imagine the devastation this caused the family. ASD has never been held accountable for Ananta's death or taken any personal responsibility. In fact, it appears he has completely erased Ananta from his life as if he never existed. Many in Holland fought for his reinstatement while shutting down and criticising Ananta's widow and family. ASD is prominent in ISKCON Amsterdam, giving classes at the temple and on youtube. He has also, ironically, written articles calling out other ISKCON leaders to be accountable for their mistakes while hiding his own sordid history. This story needs to be told for the sake of Ananta's family and his widow and the many years of trauma and suffering caused by his death.
