Nate is really some kids low key cool uncle who plays bass in one of the biggest rock bands ever. Dude just shows up and works and has been since day one. Doesnt stand out or try and get attention.
It is amazing when you think of the truly, exemplary musical units Mike has been part of; Pearl Jam, Mad Season and Temple of the Dog. For me, watching him solo on "Reach Down" at the Paramount Theatre in 2016 while Chris Cornell looked on was an incredible experience.
Magnificent. A true artist and wordsmith, not sure about his overall reputation so I may be wrong but I think he's totally underrated. His lyrics across his work are absolutely beautiful, insightful and devastating at times. A bit of a genius tbh for me. Bravo x
