Thats the fuckun Nightwish!!! Not some new bullshit where the vocalists are changed when they get bored. These morons have already replaced 5 of them, but the truth is that there is only one Tarja. 
Wow! That Last note from the "Phantom of the Opera" was perhaps her strongest since the "End of an Era" concert! Just Powerfull! .... BUT Omg, this version of Sleeping Sun is really what makes me come back to this video from time to time... It's the Best Sleeping Sun version for me, not only because of her vocals (since 2016 Tarja's vocals on Sleeping Sun have been just on point, very emotional), but also this new instrumental fits the song perfectly! @@Marcusrafaelfet As incredible as it seems, I think that in End of an Era Tarja carried parts of her chest support until the highest parts of her range, including this higher note (it sounded kind of mixed, not just heady... She was sick on that day and she used all the remaining power her technique could convey by then, I believe). On this concert she did that Eb6 purely in head voice, which sounded more effortless and more consistently supported too, because she did it in a more controled way. In my opinion, this one sounded more elegant as well... End of an Era version of this song was more raw Power! Thank you for sharing your point of view! Tarja is amazing! Cheers! =)
i like her tonality, always did, she has a nice full rounded instrument. it suits this type of music. but damn, why does she still oversing so much? its not needed. i can't stand these forceful slides, which also lead to some pitch problems (of course). also, out of breath (3:52 and subsequent holds)? and the last note...well, she still likes to come in very late...its uncomfortable, for a moment i expected she would have to skip the note. i will not talk about him, just, dude...if its not the day, stop pushing.
Wow just wow, how can she be this good? Those vocals have so much depth, so rich... so intense. Amazing! And that is probably the best phantom i have ever listened to. I am in awe. Sleeping sun, no words needed, her solo version is the best rendition there is. It's her song.
@@FluffyLaDooDoo Yees, and the last note sounded actually better than what she did in End of an era, its clearer and her vibratto is a lot more consitent than usually is on the top of her range like this.
@@Marcusrafaelfet pardon??? Her voice just cracked two times in the middle of the last note! Her vibratto??? It is failing as fuck, she's not even respecting the dynamic of the song... I'm not judging her and I perfectly understand that after all these years performing difficult songs, her vocal chords are not the same as in the very beginning, but this is way too far from being better than the Nightwish version.
This last note was actually one of the best she's done, sounded very clear and good vibratto wich is usually not this consistent when she is on the top of her range like this, the squeak was the saxophone, so sad that this happened

@@ChriStargazer Η μουσική δεν έχει όρια και τα γούστα είναι τελείως διαφορετικά όπως και οι καλλιτέχνες αυτό δεν το κάνει κατώτερο ή ανώτερο, δυνατό ή αδύναμο. Επίσης ας μην το πάμε με αριθμούς γιατί πλέον μεγαλύτερους αριθμούς κ πωλήσεις κάνουν διάφορα σκουπίδια... Δεν νομίζω να είναι κ εκείνοι χωρίς αφτιά και ακοή... Ας απολαύσουμε την μουσική λοιπόν και ας αφήσουμε ανόητες συγκρίσεις...
@@efthimisevgenis3020 Συμφωνώ απόλυτα ότι δεν έχει όρια και φυσικά τα γούστα του καθενός είναι διαφορετικά και σεβαστά...η επισήμανση μου ήταν πως όλα τα τραγούδια δεν είναι το ίδιο γι'αυτό και δεν μπορεί ο καθένας να γράφει τραγούδια γιατί πρέπει να έχεις αυτό το χάρισμα για να μπορείς να το κάνεις.... φυσικά για τον καθένα το ποιοτικό είναι τελείως διαφορετικό αλλά όσο και να αγαπάς κάτι πρέπει να ξέρεις να ξεχωρίζεις το άσπρο με το μαύρο...

Δεν αμφιβάλλω ότι ο tuomas δεν είναι καλος συνθέτης προφανώς είναι εξαιρετικός. Άσχετα αν και για μένα τα τελευταία χρόνια ανακυκλώνει με τα ελάχιστα που έχω ακούσει αυτό νιώθω γιατί δεν τους ακολουθώ έτσι και αλλιώς. Αλλά για μένα εξαιρετική είναι και η Tarja γιατί να τους συγκρίνω? Γιατί να πω τον έναν ικανό και τον άλλο λιγότερο ικανό και μην το παμε πάλι με τα παζάρια και τους αριθμούς γτ πραγματικά άστοχα κομμάτια είναι στην κορυφή με πολλά περισσότερα εκατομμύρια προβολών. ο καθένας γράφει αυτό που τον εκφράζει. Αν αυτό εκφράζει κ εσενα ή εμένα είναι σχετικό. Ας φύγουμε λίγο από την εποχή 2005 η οποία μετράει πολλά χρόνια πίσω. Ο καθένας έχει την πορεία του στον χώρο και απολαμβάνει αυτό που κάνει κ εμείς από την άλλη έχουμε περισσότερες επιλογές.

I love this new version of Sleeping Sun. I mean, she had several variations of the song in recent years, but this one has more energy due to the faster pace. It's probably more difficult to sing because of that, but it pays off.
Whoa! Got chills with the Sleeping Sun!! This really would have been great with high quality. Although for a phone video it's good (just.. horizontal camera for this kind of things).
Tarja that dress, just wow, I wish this concert was filmed, all the gowns were so exquisite! I want to see them in motion up close but her voice is still the main attraction, I swear every single year her voice reaches deeper and with more volume.... 3:15-3:40 and 6:53- 7:15. Just crazy good! Her vocals became so much more voluminous and richer since she started exploring her lower register.... but motherfucking hell the ending for "Think of me" was one of her best, the staccato was so agile and fast and the last note at 10:06 just sky rocketed like no one's business. Thank you Peter for sharing this!
@@RaidenStorms No, the staccato and the high note are slower and not nearly as agile as in here. This one is definetely her best Think of me rendition. Absolutely stellar!
