A wide sunhat, light wet cooling towel around the neck, and breathable loose athletic shirt (longsleeve) makes a huge difference. Also a big thermos filled with ice water. Makes the difference between being able to do 30 min of yard work and 3 hours of yard work.
Good point. did try, but the house is over 100 years old. It was blasting the wood fibers off. Plus, I could’ve tried a more powerful power washer, but that’s 20/20 hindsight now. :)
Hello, thank you very much for asking. I am doing OK. I had just fallen way off of the wagon and I’m scrambling to get back on. I hope you’re well. Thanks for writing. Take care.
Hey, yea I am. I actually just got the last paycheck, so I’m set through September, but I need to start thinking about October now and the best think about Doordash is that it’s always there. Do you Doordash? Thanks for writing
Hi Betty. Hope all is well. I've watched some of your videos of your life's journey. Glad your getting settled there in Waco. I'm in san antonio. I doordashed for 2 years but now have a regular job. I got to the point of hating doordash. Now I make more monies and have benefits with a regular full time job. I put about 20000 miles on my car doordashing. Sorry to hear you are without appliances. You gotta have a fridge and a washer dryer would be nice. I wish you all the luck in the world. I've been divorced too for 3 years and finally getting my life together again. Good luck on the writing. Stay strong.
@@MikeG691 20,000 miles! Wow. Yea, I understand. I’m glad you’ve gotten a better job now. I’m still hopeful about finding something in Waco. Believe me, if I didn’t have to put the wear and tear on my car, I’d be very happy. Have a great time in San Antonio.
It's totally a sellers market right now. I don't see how it's not selling. What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking ? Doordash is very temporary. It ruins you vehicle. Then you'll be on feet. Maybe you need a good soul mate .
Once you get better, and cherry pick properly, you can grab 4 to 5 orders an hour!thats how each hour should be spent.try it...pick carefully, drive at a moderate speed, keep moving and QUICK ON YOUR FEET,youll see your able to do more than 2 orders an hour-and maybe $30- 40 an hour
we get paid like a waitress 2.50 to deliver an we have to get tips to make it or anything only thing is we out running or truck an using gas we should get 7.25 plus our tips what we should do doordash we making them million an the resturants by us deliving an getting less then if the resturants . charge delivery few to people who order they leave less tips for us .then they give u 1099 at end year have pay taxes , they need to get it to see if we want taxs taken out ,yes u can make some good money but we have relay on tips doordash need up there pay
I agree. I love the flexibility, but I won’t be dashing once I move. It was worth the time and effort while I was in the stage that I was in, but i don’t want to ruin my car by doing it too long.
I love your channel. I am praying for you and your new life. Find a good church to worship and reach out for help. You are such a real person and a hard worker. God is in control and will show you the way!
Yes. Doordash has its drawbacks, but when you’re in limbo, not knowing where you’ll be in 6 months (heck! In three) there’s few better ways to make money.
Its not worth it if you do it full time, its a supplemental income for me you really dont make that much money if you consider that youre using your car and pay your own gas.
I can see how you would think that. It puts a lot of wear and tear on the car and I spend $100 a week on gas. But, it has been a perfect vehicle for this in-between time of my life. Thanks for the comment!
Everything happens for a reason, Betty. Purpose can be found in what may seem to be the most intolerable and insignificant of things further down the line. I wish you the best of luck regarding your house situation and it was a joy to hear you tell some of your story. Fret not, you’ve got this.
