Thanks for stopping by Bobbi Jo's. My name is Chastity. This channel is named after my dog Bobbi Jo. Bobbi Jo was adopted in August of 2019. She is a Border Collie/Newfoundland mix. I make human treats and Bobbi Jo joins me when making dog treats.
The channel has expanded through the years. We are much more than just a cooking channel. We have DIY projects, backyard birdwatching, gardening, and drool-worthy human and doggie treats. All the videos are organized under playlists. If you are here to watch a certain topic then click on that playlist. Don't forget to check out our webpage at cookinwithbobbijo.com.
Thanks for stopping by and have a very blessed day!

If you just use the straight nozzle instead of one of the attachments the wind won't blow the water out and empty it. Also have to periodically clean off the pump as it will clog with debris. I actually prefer a solor fountain that runs off a panel attached to a long cord, also on amazon. That way you can put it wherever the sun is and it stores up power and can run when it's dark
@@lisasmith1684 yes. I removed the nozzles and just let the water bubble over. I also have the solar panel one now that I like too. Thanks for stopping by.
One of these flew into our window yesterday. I took it inside, gave it water and food, took care of it then released it back into the wild, flew away with lots of energy. Very gentle bird, I pet its head and it didn't even care.
Great idea!!! And Robins are fearless with birdbaths. Can you adjust the water level to not shoot up so high? It's usually very windy where I live and I've had fountains that shoot up like that--the wind blew the water out and the motor burned out by the time I got home. I'm in texas... between the wind and the heat, the water was all gone by the time I got home.
@@rosemaryortega9879 thank you. I actually repainted it a red color. I left it out when it got below freezing in the winter and the paint started peeling. So the only color I had in my garage was red. I repainted it and sealed it this time so hopefully it will not peel off. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you dearly!!! I ❤ ❤ ❤ this. These squirrels are determined and absolutely persistent. Enjoyed your commentary too😂😅. I need to find my slinky and stop Vaseline 'ing our pole. Will a round soda bottle work as well?
Every now and then a squirrel will get around it. I've tried 2 liter bottles and a gallon milk jug and they both work. I haven't tried any others. A slinky and plastic bottle together works and is entertaining to watch. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you kindly for the video! I think this will help me with my own birdbath repair that has a crack! I appreciate the extra information about wildlife safety! ❤
Hello Ms. Chastity, Oh no, poor Bobbi Jo! My condolence on your MIL's passing. Those are cute little babies. How is Steve doing with losing both of his parents in such a short time frame? Make sure you take care of yourself with everything you have going on! Love you, my friend💕💕 TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕 Happy 4th of July!🎆🧨🎇
Thanks for stopping by. This is one of my older videos so I had to watch it again. 😊 I need to make these again once life settles down. Bobbi Jo loves anything with blueberries.
These projects are really neat. I just found your channel today and watched all (I think!) of your lamp videos. I love birdbaths and have one old cement one but would like another - they are so expensive to buy! I will keep my eyes open for a good heavy lamp to use for a base. I also use the solar fountains from amazon - so easy! Thanks for sharing your nice garden 💐🐦🐝
@M4R1N4 thanks for stopping by. I fill the lamp base with sand to make them heavier. I plan on doing more projects eventually when life settles down a little. Also stay tuned. When I hit 5000 subs I will do a giveaway of a camera Hummingbird feeder and bird feeder.
You will have much better luck with your birdbath if you lower your water spray to about 6 inches max or even make it more of a bubbler. The wind won't be blowing the water around, and the birds will be able to actually bathe in it, especially if it's low level. I would also suggest adding platforms such as rocks or even repurposed items items to add landing and bathing stations. You have a great start and have spent an amazing amount of money, certainly more than I ever have. I live in San Diego and have other critters too besides birds but only rabbits, skunks, raccoons, and possums. We have coyotes but not in my yard.. I love watching Robbie and Gary on RU-vid in the Los Angeles hills. She is the Queen of the hummingbirds, with literally thousands enjoying her feeders and fountain, and she is an endless inspiration...but be careful 😂 because it becomes addictive . She uses some of the strangest things for fountains, soda bottles, kurig coffee pods and just about anything from the thrift store. She grows an amazing organic veggie garden .in plastic totes from the Dollar Store and has a cute little dog and emus. Us crazy Caliornians right😊 You may not want to go any further than what you have, but I am now 80 and always looking for fun way to enhance my small space in the senior mobile home park where I live. My cats .weare harnesses and leashes, we go outside where the hummingbirds love to tease them and just enjoy what nature we can. You have so much more, a real house & yard ❤ Have fun, you have a great start so cut loose and really GO FOR😂 GREATNESS...Dana, a crazy SoCal Gardener
@@danawirthrittenhouse6414 thanks for stopping by. I did make it a bubbler. The birds enjoy it more. I also have a hummingbird bath and butterfly/bee bath. I've added a lot over the last year, since making this video. My bird population has grown. We just had a brood of bluebird chicks fledge from the bluebird nest box. That was a lot of fun to watch too.
Hola/Bonjour Bobbi Jo: The Degenerates at the Living Center I am in, refuse to provide range tops! I will use an electric skilet. Wish moi luck! I Would like to ask tu/vous, one more time does rice go in the pan cooked or raw?
I really enjoyed watching the birds taking baths. Thank you for sharing the DIY project. I’m going to give it a try. Also subscribed to your channel. ❤
